A First Look at Dusk Restaurant & Bar, Singapore’s Latest Hilltop Dining
One Faber Group unveils their latest dining concept, Dusk Restaurant & Bar.
Perched at the top of Faber Peak Singapore sits One Faber Group’s latest dining concept, Dusk Restaurant & Bar. Located 100-metres above sea level, Dusk boasts panoramic views of Harbourfront and Sentosa Island, and promises a spectacular view of the sunset while you indulge in delicious European tapas and sip on specially curated wines and cocktails.
We were thrilled to join in the celebration of the restaurant’s opening in early December and witnessed the picturesque view and mesmerising sunset as promised. The restaurant is divided into two sections, the sheltered section where a 9.6 metre bar takes centerstage and an alfresco-dining garden area where dreamy fairylights hang overhead to cast a romantic spell over the restaurant’s patrons when night falls.
Fresh Tomato & Basil BruschettaFoie Gras Au GratinChorizo with Marble PotatoesDesigned as a sanctuary where urbanites can retreat to to unwind after a long day or to gather with friends and family for a relaxing time, Dusk is furnished with a combination of wood surfaces, neon art pieces and an embellished floor art to reflect the surrounding natural elements and add visual variety, and comfortable modern and sophisticated furniture that is homely and inviting. A mixture of communal and small clusters of tables occupy the restaurant to cater to both big groups and intimate gatherings.
Côte de BoeufTiger Prawn CapelliniFlambé Baked AlaskaRicotta Cheese CakeAfter helping ourselves to the evening’s welcome drink, Dusk Til Dawn, we settled down at one of the many communal tables as the restaurant started to fill up. Dinner was served after the opening ceremony on the alfresco deck, and we helped ourselves to the delicious spread. A selection of the restaurant’s recommended canapés and desserts were laid out prettily in front of the bar while the live stations serving two of the restaurant’s specialties, the 150-day Prime Angus Ribeye and Tiger Prawn Capellini, worked up a queue as guests hurried to get a first taste of Executive Chef Kenny Yeo’s handiwork.
