Free-Spirited Bohemian Beach Wedding Styled Shoot
With its earthy tones and relaxed, retro vibe, this bohemian beach wedding styled shoot celebrates young love in a fun and free-spirited way!
Today’s styled shoot is for the boho brides! With its wild and free styling, earthy tones, and relaxed, retro vibes, this bohemian shoot will inspire a beautiful beach session of your own. “This playful, bohemian-themed shoot centres around a young, free-spirited couple,” the creatives behind the shoot tell us. “Stepping away from the formalities of a traditional wedding, they are simply having fun and spending time on the beach while sharing their romantic connection.”
The bride, Grayce, wore a romantic, long-sleeved lace gown by New Zealand designer Sally Eagle, available at Frieda Brides. With its floral lace bodice and soft tulle skirt, the dress was perfect for the shoot’s mood of carefree romance. Natural, glowing makeup in tones of pink and lilac by Denise of Adorn Studio and loose waves in a half-updo by Wei Shi, also from Adorn Studio, worn with a headpiece from Luissa Vass completed the bohemian look.
Grayce carried a wild, natural bouquet in tones of rust orange, burnt toffee, wet sand, and warm caramel. “Foraged grasses and ferns, muddy and earthy foliage, lotus fruits painted gold, and wild branches formed the core elements of this earthy bouquet,” described Alyona from Gathered and Styled.
Conceived by Cindy from Cindy Bri Photography, the shoot was set on a quiet part of the East Coast Park beach, and styled with a picnic and a gorgeous macramé backdrop against the sea by Zyn from Le Fairymeadow: “Inspired by the warm autumn colour palette, our foliage selection takes centre stage, pairing dual-toned Magnolia leaves with ferns and pampas.”
The beautiful macramé backdrop and vintage Vespa gave a nod to the seventies, and combined with the earthy styling to create a fun, laid-back vibe to the whole session, where the couple could simply enjoy themselves. “We hope this shoot provides inspiration for more casual, fun alternatives to pre-wedding shoots or wedding celebrations!” say the creatives, and we hope so too!
