Yah Jun and Kuie Soon’s Whimsical Beachside Vintage Pre-Wedding Shoot
Be inspired by Yah Jun and Kuie Soon’s beautiful overseas pre-wedding shoot with A Little Moment.
High school classmates Tham Yah Jun, 25, Graphic Designer, and Liaw Kuie Soon, 26, Unit Manager, reconnected at a gathering five years after graduation and the rest, as they say, is history. The pair of lovebirds had such undeniable chemistry that neither of them can pinpoint how or when they become a couple. To commemorate their love, Yah Jun and Kuie Soon immersed themselves in a romantic pre-wedding shoot by the sea with Sze Lee from A Little Moment. Catch a glimpse of their dreamy pre-wedding session here!
What was the proposal like?
Yah Jun: We were out for dinner to celebrate our second anniversary at a Korean BBQ restaurant because I was craving for pork belly. On the way home, he joked about having something in the drawer of his car, just like he always does. I didn’t believe him at first but opened the drawer anyway and saw a rose. I was actually more than happy to receive a rose on my anniversary, so I closed drawer after I took the rose out. Then, Kuie Soon opened the drawer again and retrieved a little box from within.
What was your first pre-wedding shoot like?
Overall, it was fun! It started raining during the shoot but we continued with our session in spite of the rain. Thankfully, the rain only got heavier just as we wrapped the shoot up. We were glad that we got to know Sze Lee from A Little Moment through our friend, as he was very friendly, helpful and easy-going, which canceled out any awkwardness during the shoot. We left him to decide on the concept of the shoot and were glad that we did. The photos look great! He was also pretty hands-on, guiding us along the way and teaching us how to pose for the camera. We definitely highly recommend him!
