Wedding Car Floral Inspiration Styled Shoot with Fleur D’sign
Instead of the classic round bouquet and sash combination, style your wedding ride with these floral inspirations from our wedding car floral décor styled shoot.
The assortment of blooms and variety of colours they come in make flowers a great way to dress up any wedding. While most brides dedicate much of their time and budget to perfecting the flowers for their bridal bouquet and venue décor, they settle for the bare minimum required when it comes to the seemingly less prominent areas such as their wedding ride. But even the car you’ll be picked up and ferried around in needs to be decorated beautifully to match the occasion.
Together with veteran wedding specialist Fleur D’sign and Ric Kor Photography, we’ve teamed up with Hertz, Volkswagen and Minibug for a mini styled shoot showcasing different wedding car floral decorations on three popular wedding-apt rides to inspire your wedding car decorations for your big day.
The BMW 7 Series from Hertz’s Prestige Collection is the perfect car for couples looking to make a grand entrance. The four-door luxury ride is a popular choice for weddings, especially in the colours navy blue and white. While the colour black is usually avoided in Chinese weddings, a black ride can look wedding-appropriate with the right decoration.
Fleur D’sign, a bridal boutique that offers a one-stop wedding service, specialising in wedding floral decorations, opted for a classic, elegant look with sweet notes of blue and blush for the luxury ride. The soft floral shades lend a beautiful, modern contrast to the sleek, black exterior of the car, transforming this black beauty into a magnificent wedding ride.

Volkswagen’s Golf Cabriolet is another popular choice among couples who prefer a classy and sporty option for their wedding ride. This posh ride features a cool convertible roof that you can choose to recline for an open-top look, LED headlights and a roomy interior. To complement the fun and quirky vibe of the Golf Cabriolet and the posh red interior, Fleur D’sign decorated the car’s pristine white hood with a gigantic heart shape made out of 101 rose petals and wisps of ivy vines. Matching mini heart-shaped wreaths with a single rosebud adorned the handles of the car and dangled in a lovely trio on the trunk of the car.

The black vintage Volkswagen Beetle from Minibug is a classic must-have for vintage-themed weddings. This two-door, four passenger ride, highly sought after by couples for its unique shape and alluring curves, is guaranteed to turn heads on the road.
The team at Fleur D’sign draped a whimsical floral garland filled with antique roses in pastel hues of peach and dreamy green fauna across the hood of the Beetle, giving the otherwise masculine black ride a sweet, feminine look. Clusters of wild flowers and fauna tied to the handles and trunk of the car complete the modern and romantic vision Fleur D’sign had for this vintage car.
