Designer Feature: Julie Vino Fall 2016
Santorini, the Julie Vino Fall 2016 bridal collection, features gowns that are sexy without being too revealing, ideal for a private and romantic ceremony against gorgeous scenery as a backdrop.
Inspired by the clean architecture of the famous Greek island, Julie Vino adds unexpected details to an otherwise womanly collection, with geometric patterns on elegant lace and architectural cuts to smooth, delicate fabrics. If you’re looking for off-shoulder designs, deep V neck lines, and bodycon wedding dresses, you’ll definitely love this sexy collection.
The gowns were definitely a sight to behold. With the exquisite embroidery and beading glittering under the spotlights on the runway, the vintage lattice lace details seemed to have been given a glamourous makeover. I was lucky to have been able to view them up close during the New York Bridal Fashion Week. To take the island theme even further, the evening wear collection had even less fabric, but it was just as exotic and luxurious.
Taking the sexiness up another notch, Julie Vino’s evening look features halter neck silk dresses with front keyhole cuts and thigh-high slits, as well as bodysuits with sheer chiffon skirts. If the pictures from her Fall 2016 look book doesn’t make you want to pack your bags and get married in a revealing sheer number surrounded by the lure of the Aegean Sea, I don’t know what would.
Julie Vino is available in Sydney, the United States, and all over Europe.
