To Love And To Cherish
Ines and Irjen’s nuptials is one wedding you don’t want to and shouldn’t miss. They celebrated their union over two days of celebrations with their friends and family in Singapore last June, and like their engagement lovescapade in Tokyo, their beautiful wedding was filled with an abundance of fun, joy and love. It’s impossible not to get emotional when you see Ines cry when her father serenades her before their father-daughter dance, or fail to see the love these lovebirds have for one another when they gaze upon each other. Scroll down and let these captivating images bring you back to the day they tied the knot.

Even though you and Irjen reside and work in Jakarta, you chose to host your wedding in Singapore instead of back home. What’s the reason behind your decision? What kind of difficulties or challenges did you face while trying to coordinate a destination wedding?
Ines: Irjen’s family used to live in Singapore for an extended period of time so we decided to hold the celebration here. However, because we were based in Jakarta, we had to travel back and forth a number of times during our planning process. Eventually, we engaged a wedding planner to help us manage our chosen vendors, after we did our research using Singaporebrides.com and handpicking who we wanted for our wedding.
How was your actual day like?
Ines: It went by very quickly for us and ran pretty smoothly. There were some hiccups here and there during the day, but we managed to get them under control, thanks to our very helpful friends and family. Most importantly, everyone had a really good time and we were really glad our guests managed to stay from 7 to 11pm that day, which is a rarity for Indonesian guests!
Were there any particular moments during your wedding that were especially memorable or special to you?
Ines: Irjen’s wedding speech and my first dance with my father were especially memorable for me. I was extremely touched when my father surprised with a rendition of “You’re so beautiful” just before the dance started.
