Designer Feature: Sareh Nouri Fall 2015
The New York Bridal Fashion Week saw Persian-born Sareh Nouri’s Fall 2015 Collection being released. Along with her signature ethereally romantic wedding gowns, the designer also launched her first evening gowns to complement her bridal selection.
Once again, Sareh Nouri’s collection of exquisitely romantic gowns captures the heart. Crafted with the finest French laces from Sophie Halette and cut with timeless elegance, these gowns look just as likely to float down a garden wedding aisle as glide up the magnificent stairway of an old château in Bordeaux. The gowns have a dreamy quality about them that evokes the nostalgic charm of old-fashioned tales of chivalry and romance.Sarabeth Sarabeth Jacqueline Esmeralda Jewel Coco
Sareh Nouri keeps silhouettes classically simple and flattering in her fall collection. A-line gowns skim gently down in softly textured fabrics in a sweet palette of blush, gold and cream. The mermaid gowns in this collection are sinnowy and svelte, flattering a bride’s figure with perfectly placed tulle. Necklines vary from simple and modern strapless bustlines to delicate lace skimming the collarbones. There are also a range of sleeve lengths, with long lace sleeves to suit more conservative chapel ceremonies, and flirty cap sleeves for a pretty outdoor weddingColette Kristina Rose Florentine Robin Cleopatra
Sareh Nouri uses the unique designs of the Sophie Halette laces to great effect, creating beautifully patterned off-shoulder sleeves, intricate necklines, or layers of tiny rosebuds with three-dimensional lace. Like dandelions blown upon a wish, lace flutters in cap sleeves or floats down the arms to give gowns a sweet, girlish feel. Airy tulle adds a whimsical quality to ballgown skirts or sculpts a fishtail to stylish perfection. Lovely details like an open back and a long row of pearl buttons add subtle finishing touches to the gowns, while delicate embroidery and embellishment reflect a bride’s glow of happiness on her special day.Layla Layla Azalia Azalia Alexandra Melinda Midnight
The evening gowns are deeply romantic, with dark, intricate laces in dusky shades of the night draped lusciously on milky skin. With their shimmering lace and slinky trumpet silhouettes, these gowns call to mind vintage elegance of a bygone era. Their delicate embellishment, refined simplicity, and timeless silhouettes are hallmarks of Sareh Nouri’s ethereal aesthetic, and like the rest of the collection, are so breathtakingly beautiful you’ll be whisked away by the romance they promise.
Sareh Nouri is available in the United States, Canada, and Asia.
