I’m looking to pass on my beautiful wedding dress, the “Sentimental” style by Monique Lhuillier, to another gorgeous bride on her wedding day!
“Sentimental” is a modified A-line sweetheart neckline dress made with multiple layers of Chantilly lace and embroidered tulle. I fell deeply in love with the climbing lace and the silhouette – not too poofy, not too figure-hugging. It is incredibly lightweight, which is so important! I couldn’t have felt happier, more beautiful or comfortable on my wedding day.
The dress was worn for just a few hours in total - in the morning, when my now-husband came to pick me up, and for the solemnization ceremony in the evening. It has been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition. Note that I opted to omit the visible bra cups on this dress, as my family is slightly more conservative and I wasn't comfortable with the lingerie-like effect. Slight alterations have been made to the bust and length (I am 165cm / 5 foot 4 inches and wore 3.5 inch heels) by a tailor specialising in Monique wedding dresses.
I bought it for US$11,200 (about S$15,500) from Monique Lhuillier Melrose Place LA (original receipt upon request). Letting it go now for S$10,900.
I am also selling the matching veil (bought for US$2200, selling at S$2,000) and belt (bought for US$440, selling for S$400) that I wore with my dress, which I HIGHLY recommend. They really did make the whole look come together beautifully. I'd be happy to offer a combined price if you'd like to get the whole set.
