Selling my Dori gown by Hayley Paige in Alabaster in US size 10. Bought it from Trinity Gallery and collected it on 28th June 2017 for $7090.
I wore this gown only for my church wedding on the 1st of July 2017 for about 3-4 hours. No prewedding shoot so the gown is in really good condition. Would rate it 9/10 simply because it was worn before.
The gown itself is GORGEOUS. When I went gown shopping, all the other gowns that i tried on just did not impress. They were all 'just a gown'. This was the only dress that left an impression and the only thing in my whole wedding that I was particular about. Everyone at my wedding loved it and were so mesmeised by it including my own (traditional) mother who was initially upset because it was not a typical white gown. When I first tried it on in the shop because it was warm lighting, the colour of the gown was towards a darker purple tinge. But when I wore it in church where it was mostly with natural light the colour of the gown softened to lilac. Especially if you are having a church wedding. The train of the gown flows perfectly when youre walking down the isle. A picture perfect moment.
The Dori gown was customised in the size 10 and shipped to SG from USA. Typical waiting time was at minimum 4 months. However I waited 7 months before my gown reached SG. Then another month to do minor alterations. So brides who are on crunch time, this would definately be a good deal both as the gown is already is SG!
It does have some minor alterations such as shortening the length (I am 162cm tall). Its been professionally dry cleaned as well.
I am looking to sell for $4000. Price is negotiable but please be reasonable. The gown itself does not come with a veil. I purchased that seperately for an additional $150. Also worn for 3-4 hours. Condition is prestine. However, if you are interested to purchase the gown at a reasonable price, I would be happy to include the veil for free.
