I think it's best to buy your own teapot....
Initially I also wanted to borrow thinking that I will only use once.


Then my friend poison my mind,
She said: can't Borrow teapot de, it's bad luck as it's suppose to be new beginning.
2nd: you borrow my teapot I borrow your husband can?????

The teapot set is part of a bride's dowry.
Tradition was that the bride had to serve tea to PIL every morning
So it's not so good to borrow.
Unless it's passed down from mother or grandmother.
But nowadays mothers misplaced their teapot sets...
So we got to buy new ones
Ha ha ha...
I got mine at Chinatown.
Big size set for $25, small was $15
Do remember that you need to use teapot set at 2 locations.
Unless you do it at the hotel function room.

I have seen those shops selling those 过大礼 stuff selling teapots too.. Novena square 2 and Tampines One has a shop selling hope that helps!
