Each brand has a particular design direction. The power of branding also creates an image and draws different pools of consumers who associate the brand with a certain feeling or image they want to feel or project. I for eg always feel LV is much coveted after by aunties or the socialites so this image stays with me even today. Besides, I really dun like their designs. Think of Burberry. If one dislikes checked patterns, one will never go for burberry.

Thinking of getting a LV neverful mm. what do u all think of this bag? is it worth getting?

lv is more durable, gucci better in design, but I still feel that LV is more classy! when u sell it again also lv has higher price.....
the problem is that LV Neverful has very authentic looking imitations that is made in China and gotten there for S$100?
the quality of imitation is extremely high. even the stitching is impeccable. the leather (or whatever the material actually is) is very smooth and tidily positioned together and the craftmanship is very high. even if there were no LV logo on it, for the workmanship alone i am willing to pay S$50.
so i would hesitate to buy the LV Neverful because high quality fakes abound

May, I bought Odeon GM and speedy 30 for my wifey. If you compare the feel and texture with the authentic and those china AA grades, you can still spot the differences.

yup, there are differences. that's why i think i could be examining a stolen good specimen in china.

may, when i was newly married we rented a place that had three 2-door wardrobe in the master bedroom .. poor husband had to share one of those wardrobe with me and the rest was chocked full with my clothes. lol .. but when we moved, i gave away most of my clothes and shoes (out with the old, in with the new!! ;P)
so now i am slowly re-stocking but aiyoh, this is not good for my wallet (or the husband's) since my taste has somewhat changed over the years ..

I do agree that LV speedy is quite difficult to take things out, everytime i use it, gotta b very careful, otherwise might scratch my hands... But i still like the design, really classic...
I like LV Neverfull too, actually the small size one is nicer than the medium size...

I like the both brand.. LV is more durable than gucci, but you can select more design of bag in gucci.
