Hi BTB,

In the event that you guys have yet to book the banquet etc but have already shortlisted 1 or 2 dates, what will you do when its so coinicidence that you have chosen the same date as your cousin's?

Proceed or Not?

I think it is better to discuss with your cousin/parents.

If your cousin is unable to change their date then you might have to change yours.

Think about this scenario, what if both your dates are the same, which wedding should your relatives attend?

Let's say you changed your wedding date, is the date 100 days before/after your cousin's? Is your parents/yourself pan tang? If any of you is then you won't be able to attend someone else's wedding 100 days before/after your own's.

If both wedding dates are within the 100 days. I'm aware that both bride n groom cant attend the other's. But what about parents/ cousins of both families? do they have to oblige to that 100 days as well?

I remember for my cousin's wedding my whole family didn't attend because my sister was getting married within the 100 days. My grand parents and other uncles did attend both sides. Maybe just the bride and groom + direct family members?

Hello. My wedding is 1 day apart from my cousin. My direct family will not attend her wedding and they will not attend ours. But the rest of the relatives may attend both weddings. Hope thos helps. :)

alrights!! thanks for all ur advice. btw, how many mths in advance did u ask ur guest to rsvp before actual wedding day..

Due to my circumstances, i only had 3 months to prepare for my wedding so i sent out my invitations as soon as my venue was booked. but what i heard from friends and online, usually they send out save-the-dats 6months before AD?
