Urgent questions on AD morning events

My original plan of the morning gatecrash and tea ceremony schedule is like this:

1) Gate crash at bride's house
2) Photography session with bridesmaids & groomsmen
3) Dismiss bridesmaids and groomsmen except 1 each.
4) Bring only 1 bridesmaid and 1 groomsman (driver) for tea ceremony. All sit in the bridal car (4 people in total).

The reason is that I didn't really want to make a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen waiting around with nothing to do. I just need 1 bridesmaid to help me out during the tea ceremony. I would rather do the photography first and dismiss most of them so that they can take a good rest before coming back to the hotel in the evening. Logistics wise it is also much easier coz don't need to rent so many cars and find so many drivers.

Later on my mother insisted that the bridesmaid cannot sit in the bridal car (for some unknown reason). So she insisted that I must rent a car for the all the bridesmaids and groomsmen, which means I must find 2 additional drivers as well. It was already not easy to find 1 driver for our bridal car. It really throws off the entire plan too.

I have 2 questions:
1. Is it really necessary to bring all the bridesmaids and groomsmen to the tea ceremony?
2. Is there a rule, pantang or what, that a bridesmaid cannot sit in the bridal car?

Thanks!

1. It depends on you. But usually you need one to help hold on to the angbaos you receive, one to help rinse cups, and one to fill cups and pass them to you. If you have relatives who are helping with these then you don't need any bridesmaid at all, so this depends on your situation.

2. I'm not superstitious at all, so I wouldn't care about this and will see this as a pure logistical issue of how many people can fit in the least number of cars as possible, considering you mentioned it was difficult getting just 1 driver. I think people do have the main bridesmaid (maid of honour) to be in the car so she can help with your gown when you get in and out of the car. For superstitions, any and everything can be bad, if you follow everything, there's no end to it.

1. I also intend to dismiss e brothers and sisters after reaching e groom's place so tt they can go back to hv a gd rest n prepare for dinner banquet. Will just hv 1-2 helpers to help w angpows, carrying of stuff, etc back to bride's home for e tea ceremony.

2. Have nt really heard anything inauspicious abt MOH sitting in e bridal car. I guess ideally bridal car shld chauffeur e groom n bride but i guess if logistically it makes sense n there is really no logical explanation why MOH cannot sit in bridal car, i will go along w it. So really it's wat u can accept :)
