Just want to broadcast here abt True Spa at Ngee Ann City. I think they have SUCKS service there and actually no service.

They have been callling me to vist their spa services at Ngee Ann, giving me complimentary back massage and when i finally agree to try out. The lady who called told me after 6pm, i have to pay $15 and i told her no, i won't be paying $15. I told her i finished work at 5.30 and i can only reach like 6.15pm. And she told me ok. She will just register for me 5.15pm but asked me to reach there asap. and she told me i can bring along a friend.

So on that day both of us went down at 6.15pm. Guess what the pple there said? the consultant told me we have to pay $15 as it has passed 6pm and they are not apologetic at all for making me and my friend wasted a trip there. I think she went in to check with the Mgr and then came and asked us whether we have the intention to sign up..! Idiots right!? I think they are conman! substandard svc and lousy personnel... ACtually if their service is good and their massage skills is good, i won't be signing. but see what kind of pple are they!! I swear i WILL NOT step into their premises even if they give me free or pay me $ to visit them. Fat Hope!

they think i won't spend on their packages? what a joke! I have 4 facial packages ( lennard Drake, Nardia, subtle senses & iSpa) and a body massage package at subtle senses and i pay full amt for all the packages.. don even need to pay instalment.. I have nothing to lose but they have lose a big cust! stupidity i can say...

So in future if you ladies rec'd call from them abt their complimentary services.... better think twice.

Based on their substandard svcs... i think they will close down very soon!... expensive and lousyt services and lousy pple.,.,. !

My subtle senses are so much better than them., Reasonable price and super good masseurs!
 


Wise decision...for me i had regretted signing a package with them in 2006..i share the package with my friend. Till now i had only been there not more than 10 times...Y? becos their appt is so hard to make lor..their consultant sucks too...simple things also can't do..i have been trying to book appt for ma, my families and friend as i wanna sell off my package and finish off wif this..i had enuff of their nonsense..
To all pple who read this...do not sign package with them..sign liao n u will nv get to use the service when u want it..
 
You should really put this up in STOMP and let STOMP interview them and 'advertise' for them. lol.

AVOID TRUE SPA at ALL cost!


Hi all, I'm a victim of TRUE SPA... and is in the midst of leading a group of 13pax (from different walks of life, gathered from various internet forums) in legal action against TRUE SPA.

Many have heard of the horrid customer service at TRUE SPA...

1. Unable to get booking slots made many weeks in advance.
2. Cant get thru their booking hotline.
3. Slots available for trial customers but not for existing customers.
4. Member card chargeable for some members but not ALL members.

The list goes on!

Legal action's purpose is to seek termination of contract, get back unused amounts, and also seek compensations.

Est. $200+ per pax in legal fees led by authorised lawyer.
The more pax joining, the less each participant needs to fork out.

I'm continuining searching for more victims from various internet forums to come together join forces.

Sigh.. guess I should have googled around and done some research before I signed up with True Spa.. signed up for a mani and pedi package back in jun 07, and so far only managed to utilise it 3x (certainly not for lack of trying)..
Recently, I called 1 month ahead in dec08 to book a session one month before to try and book a session for pre cny and when I finally called through, I was told that they only take bookings 2 weeks in advance.. when I called again first thing in the morning exactly 2 weeks in advance, I'm told that it's fully booked?!??! (they then tell me booking can actually be done 1 mth in advance).. really really REGRET taking up the package. I actually did lodge a complaint at the front desk and requested to see their manager, they gave me a feedback form to fill, and kept me waitng for 20min.. after which I walked off, not wanting to waste anymore time.

I honestly do wonder how they managed to stay in business so long with so much complaints and sub standard service..
 
Just back from guess where ?!? And guess what I over heard in the lift ? ....... 25% commission cut, no 13th month, no overtime pay, no ang pao (not even a $2 good luck red packet !). Goodness gracious. Poor ladies were doing their maths in the lift and lamenting how to earn back that 25% to make ends meet.

How to expect good service when internally they don't even take care of their own people.

Me too, I sign up 2yrs back and till now still did not manage to finish my package.

Everytime I called is either no one answer the call or fully booked.

I was very unhappy of their service and want them to put me to speak to their manager, but they always told me that the manager is busy and will call me back but never, not even once the manage bother to return my call.

There are many times whereby I called to check the remaining package, they always said they need to check my profile and get back to me. It has been mths already still no reply from them.

Terrible & lousy service.
 
I did complain but they ignore me, so I walk to every table and tell them not to sign up and in the end the GM came out. For me, now the service has improved, my booking all done by somebody via sms cos I complain. I think legal action is good if they fail to deliver again.
 
wow, I didn't realize that so many ppl faces the same experience as me. Same story, keep calling the phoneline and no one pick no matter how many countless times I call or what hour of the day. I thought maybe the company bankrupt & run away.

So i deliberately go to takashimaya to check. Goodness. Yup, truespa still exist, when I was there, I see that sometimes phone keep ringing and the staff is too busy to pick up. The staff told me that they will assign me to another person to take care of my account. But take down my details & then no news from them..ever.

Terrible spa service.. go to spa is to relax, recharge.. its not to get stressed out to do booking like >1mth earlier and still risk not having any timeslot. I always end up going someplace else like Heliospa at paragon or Mahogany (they have excellent service). Truespa jsut want your money & then no followup at all to help to arrange your appointment so to maximize the different type of services you bought. Massage chair also spoilt.

The massage, facial..skill is ok. Probably its management problem. Better do some re-org. Fire some stupid no value added managers. The top management themself better go down to the spa & see for themself or talk to the ppl themself to get a good grasp of reality.

Btw, aromatic spa also have awful sales tactic.

Need help.
Last month, I signed up one of their package 6xfull body massage,6xfootspa/hydrobath/steambath, total cost $635.58, and she allowed me to do 3 installment.
I already paid the 1st installment-$160 and I haven't used any of the service yet...
I felt regretful to sign up as I'm not stubborn enough to reject them...

I wish to terminate the package, ...I don't mind to lose that $160...
Should I continue or not? She said the package is valid for 3 years.

I'm thinking not to pay the balance 2 installments, is it ok?

Any suggestion for me?

haizz...I really don't want to go there again even though I do not have any valid reason to terminate the package ;(

don go..i rather lose my $160 than spending $600+ n torture ur ears everytime u go..u heard so many pple complaint abt it n if u still insist of going back,u must be crazy.
the reason i askin u nt to go cos i am one of the victim too.they always call u to sign new packgage..never ending..
DON GO BACK..U WON'T REGRET LOSING UR $160..
just tell me u being post to oversea to work..cannot commit to the package.if they call ur hp.jus pretend to be someone else.then they won't call again..
 
i mean tell them,nt tell me..haha..type too fast..cos very hot when talk abt them..won't blame the staff there..they also very ke lian..jus don go back don sign..must be very firm.cos i am nt firm enough tat y i sign n sign.the amt i sign is 10x the amt of ur package.don ask me y i sign so much,i also don know y..like gena black magic

I will not go there again, I rather lose $160...but I hope after 3 years they won't said I breach the contract, as I don't pay the balance 2 installments...

sigh...I think I don't want to pick up their call if they call me again

I have some much to complain abt true spa. dotdotdot26 i would love to join in the petition on the legal proceedings, not sure if its still avail??

I am so so annoyed by true spa, recently i was ofered the free trial and went with my bf, thereafter they did their sales pitch on us and that time i really wanted a spa package but i made a mistake by not shopping ard for a good package. so anyway we signed this package with this sales consultant who promised the sky saying she provides excellent service and painted a rosy picture... guess what 2 weeks after my bf and i signed up i tried smsing her to make an appt she didnt reply so i called her, her phone was off, i called the mainline to find out that she left the company! she lied to us saying that she is pending promotion in true spa, has a huge customer base that all her customers are v happy with her services and she will be the one that is managing the new spa outlet of true spa blah blah blah painted such a rosy picture! NODODY had the initiative to call to inform, can u imagine i went for the services not even knowing where the steam room is and was assisted no help when i was there... basically was treated invisible

I was so annoyed i went to true spa and request to speak to a manager, this operations mgr spoke to me assured me that he will personally book my appts for me and after our first massage appt, when we ask for our account balance to our disgust they actually charge a 7%GST on the promised bonus and free credits! Its not abt the amt of $ but i m just so pissed that before we sign the contract we were promised that only the $3000 is chargable with GST. we specifically asked on GST so it cant be that both my bf and i hear wrong. i confronted the operations manager via email and document every single crap of his reply and it take ages to reply to a point of aviodance... is there anything i can do? any suggestions ladies??
 
Hi all, I have the same BAD EXPERIENCE at TrueSpa also! I went for the free massage at Ngee Ann City (my fren had signed up a package and they said she can recommend another fren for free trial. That's how I ended up there). That lady (can't rem her name) was very pushy! Keep asking me to go for Laser treatment, and when I said I need time to consider, she told me i have to decide on the spot to be qualified for their 'Special Price'-Which I don't believe that price was fantastic. When I stood firm and told her I'm not going to sign up before doing my own reading on Laser treatment, she became so rude and said things that implied that I am poor, and I can't afford the price! She just walked away and don't bother to show me the way out! What kind of f*ck up service was that!
So my advice is: DO NOT GO THERE OR U'LL BE THE NEXT PERSON COMPLIANING IN THIS FORUM!

Knowing that there are many complaints abt True spa, today (14-11-09) I still go for my 2nd trial @ Ngee Ann. The 1st time I went was 4yrs back. During that time I find that their svc was still not bad.

I have recd a call from them last week & ask me to go for a trail. So I decided to do a foot spa since last time I did a back massage. What a "GOOD SERVICE" that they still SMS me twice for reminder.

It seems like the trail member will have a SPECIAL SPECIAL prelivrage because I've change my appt timing again again. But yet still able to slot e timing for me.

After finished the foot spa, a lady came to me by the name of Sophie or June (cant remember). She offered me a Special Package Price which only for today... I told her FRANK that I have heard more complaints about True Spa, as what she claimed that were many member last min call in for booking. She told me if to make appt, is better to call in 2 weeks in advance. I told her again let me go home think about it..!! She asked: so I'm not keen to join then WHY am I here....???? I replied: honestly is becos you called me to come for the complimentry and is free so I come lor.

HAHA... her face turn black immedicately & walk away.

This is the WORST SPA that I even been. All so unprofessional.
