I got alot of questions marks in my head......regarding travelling on minus degree countries....e.g how to take care digial camera & Contact Lens solution ?

And wat are the things we need to special take care during going to those countries?

Thanks.

as per normal except to take note

1. electronic devices take note battery life is much shorter.
2. camera lenses take note that they tend to fog up when transiting indoor <-> outdoor due to great temperature difference
3. keep ur contact lens solution away from outside. in fact, keep any liquid stuff from outdoor exposure, will harden or freeze

special needs for ur own comfort
1. protect ur ears with a woolen hat or ear muffers
2. protect ur neck from the cold
3. invest in good gloves, ie those tht's v. thin yet v. warm. thick gloves make u v. clumsy
4. take note, thicker <> better cold protection. get proper winter clothings. they're not cheap but is worth it

Hi all,

A woolen hat is highly recommended as a large amount of heat is lost from an uncovered head. Don't try to be macho or you will regret it.

Winter clothing is pricey in Singapore, but more affordable in temperate countries.

Oh, i had an interesting experience durin my virgin winter. As my bathroom is not heated and i leave my liquid soap in it. As winter creeps in, i find the soap slowly becoming harder & harder to press out... somemore i bath everyday....haha. i desc to my colleagues and guess wht's their response. they ask if i wanna die ah, bath so often & at night. tht's when i found out tht most of them only wipe clean and dun shower during winter. at most is go hotspring.

Yes you're right. When we stayed in Holland, during winter, we would shower only once in two days. Too much showering has a drying effect on the skin. Plus you don't perspire anyway so you are still quite clean.
