heehee, today i ask them to bring me to get CS shopping again, hope to see something nice and cheap, they dun have much bare back ones here,mtm if i went earlier i can make loh, but actually i still can make but its a bit rush loh.
i din see dvds leh coz i dun really like to watch.

Yeah Kim's charges are quite gd.. But if u stay in the west, then it wld be rather inconvenient rite? Have read some recommendations of other seamstresses whose rates are rather similar to Kim's & their workmanship have also been praised quite abit!
If i dun rem wrongly, Kim's better period is Mar-May? Months after tt, not many ppl get married, so more breathable period for her.. 7th mth prob wun be a gd idea, coz she wld have to bz herself for the 8th mth
Dun worry abt materials, she wld be able to suggest to rite type & colour for u. Ideally if u can bring a pix of what u want, she wld be able to give the best advice, coz she can identify what sort of material u're seeking.. She can also suggest which shops in Arab street to purchase from

reds will also look good on you but not very wedding-y feeling lor
so fast you wanna colour? that time my hairstylist advised 1wk b4 AD to colour for colour to stay fresh plus dun see roots growing out
my PS i coloured too early, by the time PS, colour faded, nvm. the roots grew out =(

hahaha...understand since getting closer & closer to yr big day....for me, i prefer brown shades to red so it is very much up to individual preference...perhaps u can ask yr stylist to recommend...datz wad i normally do when i dunno wad shades to use so sometimes they will blend colours for me lor.

yah....our atm cards here can be used overseas as well...juz dat the exchange rate used by banks might not be as attractive lor...but it saves the hassle so in a way, itz good lor. when r u planning to go europe? maybe can start searching for some info here and there so at least can get some ideas first....

you can discuss with your stylist first? try to see if can use the longer-lasting colours plus also after your colouring, must take care to wash hair like once alternate days to maintain colour and also get colour care pdts to use like loreal's leave-in conditioner ;-)

then if you want to make a comparison, at the people park's complex (orange colour building)
located at a men's shirts shop on the ground floor (a chinese $-changer)
make a comparison between these two $-changers ~ they give the best rates.
sometimes indian one higher, sometimes chinese one higher.
got better rates from them compared to parkway parade previously.

good to haf a maid cos me dun haf to do housework lor...but hor....u very zun leh...mention abt colour run and hor, yesterday MIL juz told me my new skirt ganna stain from colour run....was thinking of bringing the skirt to the store and ask them to see if can exchange but hor, i bought it during sale so dunno whether they let me change anot...haiz....u noe of any ways to remove stains caused by colour run??? dis incident not maid caused wan so can only blame the skirt....cos MIL says the moment it touches water, the colour ran liao...think they didnt use good quality lor.
me oso dun like ironing....always perspire...think when we move to our own love nest, i'll prob get those standing steam iron like those used in boutique...at least easier i think.

I dunno leh.. I also upset tt sometimes colour of clothes run, esp strong dark ones. So usually for the 1st wash, i will hand-wash & on its own to, literally, test waters
I doubt can change.. Prob the rest are all like tt, its the initial stage when they dyed the material. Have to handwash i guess for the next few times till the colour stabilises
Derek also wants to get me the standing steam iron when we move into our new place.. He says the traditional type is not very back-friendly & he's gotta buy tt, if not when i have 'cold-war' with him, i dun think he can manage the traditional type! hahah

my maid hand washes our clothes so i dunno y oso....cos itz a white skirt wif green prints and the green colour ran and ganna the white part of the skirt lor....sianz....prob will bring to laundry to see if they r able to help, if not, i guess gotta bring it back to the shop...called and inform the shop liao and they asked me to bring it back to them lor. but they gotta bring it to office and see wad they says first....so if by then, no more size left for me den i gotta take other design...abit sian but den i guess no choice lor...better than left wif nuttin.

yah, they r quite nice lor...cos i told them i bought it during sales so can change? and they asked me to bring down cos they need to send back to office and if by then, no size liao, den prob they will let me choose other design lor...but hor, i really like the skirt so wondering if i bring to the laundry shop and they can help to remove it, den at least easier lor. see how bah...cos i dun think they can remove it leh....
wow, not bad huh dat they released half for balloting....well, juz gotta pray hard dat the unit u all want is not taken by then....pick a few units for back up lor, in case can't get 1st choice, still have 2nd, 3rd choice to fall back on.
