there are a few places which i definitely wanna see in my lifetime ~ egypt for its ancient wonders, greece for its history, spain for its beauty and new york for T&Co. heehee.
flies, yep, more at countryside area ~ they fly abit slow-motion though compared to local flies. maybe due to cooler weather? heehee! mozzies not really. din encountered any during my trip there. kekeke.

Another thing is, i cannot wash clothes here..sigh but heng my clothes are not smelly, coz they got washing machine but no iron, so most pple here wear crumpled clothes out even to work, can faint!!

the eyeshadow ~ the colours not strong, very light. not bad if you like light colour shawdow
think the difference between the more ex brands and cheaper brands is the type of colour pigments used inside.

hmmmm......car rental is good if you want to go down to the margaret river region. lovely caves to check out there ~ lake cave, jewel cave......was a beautiful experience to go underground and see for real the limestone formations
also along the way to the region, can stop by at "pit-stops" like brusselton to check out the longest railway right into the ocean
with your love for geography, perth does have all these natural wonders to keep you excited =)
my only regret was missing out on the pinnacles.

mine was stained during our tea ceremony lor...cos we had it on separate days wif our banquet. MIL asked me to leave album in living room for guests to see so no one watching the album...then hor, cos MIL served some kuehs on dat day and oso we ordered buffet catering so maybe some guests didnt clean their hands thoroughly and den see our album lor...i was very sad when i saw the oily stains on the cover and quickly flipped to check on the photos...some photos oso ganna stains so i use damp cloth to wipe lor....luckily for the photos, they weren't damaged. only for the cover we couldnt get the stain off completely lor...i was quite upset over it and hubby said if really upset, den change lor. we haben bring it down to change yet lah...still at home. going to bring it down this weekend to change lor so at least by the time we come back from HM, will be ready for collection lor. my thinking is since we paid so much liao really dun wanna let one cover spoil it all lor. so might as well make it nice nice.

My album cover is also kind of damanged, someone (dunno if it's Jie-Mei or PG) arranged the album in such a way tt it rested on a box or sthg to tt extent, so left an indentation on the cover.. Sure heartache lah, but i suspect if I want to have the change in cover, I will incurr extra costs leh.. Maybe next time when i pick up some IT skills, i will do up my own photo album in scrap-booking way, with my thoughts and write-ups on stuff related to the pix, take it to some gd printer & get it printed again.. Just a wild wild thought

all the bookings i booked directly on the net...didnt go through travel agent...did get a quote from travel agent but it is more expensive so might as well do all the bookings myself lor.

Maybe when I retire?? Or hopefully if Derek gets the opp to go over for a long or even short work trip, i will tag along!

for the bookings, i went to www.expedia.com and www.orbitz.com but hor, in the end, i juz booked directly with the hotel that i'm staying and the air ticket i just get it directly from air line. cos for hotel, i wanna airport transfers but in these webbie, they only provide car rental plus hotel and not transfers so in order to minimize any confusion in booking, i juz called the hotel directly to make reservation lor. they do have flights/hotels offer for europe as well. for Orbitz, they have more offers including other countries besides US...they have offers for asian countries and more...maybe can check it out.
as for traveller's cheque, this is to minimise the amount of cash that u nid to bring over. for example, if i change US$10k into traveller's cheque so each time when i need to get cash, i juz bring the cheque to any bank and sign on the cheque to get cash lor. they oso have this cash passport thing that works exactly like the traveller's cheque except that this card can be used at any atm over there 24/7 and can be used to withdraw cash...this way, u dun have to worry abt losing the money or other accidents that might happen lor....only thing is gotta pay 1% commission and the exchange rate is also much higher so means we have to pay more SG$ to change to US$ lor...datz the only thing datz holding us back lor. another option is to bring my atm card over there and withdraw cash but hor, the bank oso charges SG$5 per withdrawal plus i wun know wad exchange rate i'll be getting so oso not so good lor. haiz...still thinking and thinking wad to do...
