yahyah, def cannot do things our way.. I'm still getting accustomed to the fact tt i gotta scrub the toilet at every week, which i think is totally needless. I mean maybe the bowl yah, but the floor too? C'mon only 2 person using tt toilet, no need to get so routined & uptight..
I dare not leave anything outside of the room, coz u know how inquisitive my FIL is, he will ask endless questions of the long & short of those things. He tries to guess the purpose of mails which we receive. Derek calls him the supervisor, just a nice way of labelling him a KPO..Argh

Abt the flat, tt's the question i have on my mind too.. Derek was the one who found out abt our queue no. & i think we got to wait for a letter to inform when it is our turn to go seesee looklook. Just checked out TP's map & I realised it is so easy to tell where is East-West facing.. heeheeh.. So it shd be quite easy to pick out a flat we want, i can figure out my cardinal points easily

Not tt i'm forced.. But she says tt we shd scrub every Sat & not wait till its dirty blahblah.. It's not dirty! We dun have enough grime to dirty it. Anyway i dun quite like doing household chores as part of a strict routine, i like to do it as & when i am free & feel like it.. Esp when i'm stress, household chores can be a gd avenue to clear the mind, coz it's pretty mindless & can get a sense of achievement

Then we walked ard heartland mall and i got a taz furry pouch to put my makeup when i go overseas..
my MIL is obssess with cleanliness, every sat she will clean the whole house, for me i usu clean the floor nearly every other day, coz its sooo dirty with all my hair,hubby tinks i am gg to be like his mum soon hahaha..
Tats nice,hope u get to see ur flat real soon, but its in 2009 still rite...another 4 yrs..

guess in every situation, there's always the good, the bad and the ugly. hahaha
think about it, cos it's a whole new environment to move in with in-laws.
say what if we had stayed with our parents and our spouses moved in with us?
maybe it would be easier for us to adapt since we're all brought up by our families and we're familiar with the way the family operates
then what about our spouses? will they have difficulty adapting to the new environment?
to set up a home does bring along its own set of problems as well
it's not all 100% cosy all the time....have to be down-to-earth, work out budgets, establish routines, etc.
initially we did the cleaning. now we have hired help on a part-time basis to handle the major cleaning
oh dear, mehmeh, it sounds really tough to adapt!
hopefully it could just be the initial phase
this is really one of the push factors to get a place of your own
i also dislike being forced to do chores on schedule unless i have the feeling to want to do it

My rm floor is the brown brown one (duno how to spell),cant see the hair also, but after i sweep then can see the real dirt.
Tazmania is brown, so its light brown hee, fr Mini Toons ...

yah.. cos his parents bought the condo a few years ago and his mum stays there a few nites a week. its a proper house with sofa, tv, kitchen blah blah blah. just that the furnishings are old cos its a old condo..but still ok one lor.. and the best part is that we decided not to do anything to our room till after wedding so its just gonna be plain and really simple... but ok lah.. cant complain. at least i find it cool that i am not fed up with house stuff.. can leave that till later, though now i dunnoe when.. kekeke...

kekeke....if only can zzzzzzz in opit lor...i went to eat at that place b4...had the fish soup and zhi char...yummy....so their mee goreng nice nice ah...okie, next time i go try....the other time we went, we had the sting ray and some other dishes plus the fish soup...the fish soup oso very nice...got many fish meat inside....yummy
later hubby says wanna go mushroom pot to eat dinner....his fren says not bad...so will let u all know after i makan lah....been feeling so tired...yesterday after posting went to bed liao till dis morning abt 10+ and now feeling sleepy again....think i caught the sleepy bug liao....

Announcement: We finally decided to go Perth!! 1.5 days are with a tour & 2 days of F&E.. Not much idea what happend in Perth, but the winery & Freemantle does appeal to us alot. Phews, settled this bugging issue after such a long time.
Darn the stupid fuel surcharge, taxes wld cost only abt $50 for 2 airports, and the remain $240 goes to tt fuel! I can go BKK with tt kind of money lor..

hmm, i oso dunno leh...but work has been piling up lor...cleared liao and new ones come in liao so was busy clearing all the work. luckily he oso left early (an hour earlier) on friday so i could knock off on time.

me juz came back from dinner...had trouble finding car park lot cos i think there's a concert going on today so waited for a while before we got a lot....itz not bad lor and indeed there are lotsa mushrooms in the soup...golden mushroom lah, the chinese black mushrooms lah, oyster mushrooms lah, etc...but the soup not bad lor...quite different from the normal steamboat one since this is brewed using mushrooms. mehmeh, i think u wun like it liao so datz a nono for u i guess....itz quite alot of food lor...cos we used the profit card and we got like 1 for 1 for the set meal and you still get to choose 2 cooked side dishes...we had the drunken chicken (we didnt like it....not nice...we still prefer the samsui chicken from soup restaurant) and pork ribs. both recommended by the waitress....the pork ribs taste better than the chicken lor.
me oso nebber been to perth but heard from frenz who studied over there dat itz quite slow over there...but if u like country style, u prob would like it there. guess itz not as urban as sydney and melbourne bah....toking abt sheeps...i can't stand the yang sao wei....very stinko...went to the sheep farm before in melbourne and the smell is like wah piang and can't wait to get out of dat place kind...very strong smell.
