haha. no la.. not playground... just that i love HK shopping and dine... the language is right, food is right , weather is right and clothing are more fashionable & especially the summer sales, lagi best..Go there come back sure broke..

When are u going? Dun go at school holiday especially at Disneyland... sure alot of ppl going. I saw reports on the last week China 1 week holiday... 70% of PRC went to Disneyland at HK.. faintz.....

heehee, HK is enticing for me only for the food. kekeke. and also the cosmetic brand RMK!! finally after days of searching, found at the sogo at causeway bay. boy, i stocked up big time when i went! kekeke. some cosmetic brands can't be found in SG, HK has 'em.

oh yes, if u like the brand "hiroshima" for bags, shop's located at wisma atria, HK is MUCH CHEAPER than in SG. they have nice handbags and document bags. when i went, they were having 50% sale on top of already cheaper prices compared to SG. *so tempting* i just had to buy a few back. heeheehee! hiroshima can be found at the sogo in causeway bay area.

Dun worry too much abt Cantonese. Their version is so high-standard & fast, tt my frens who are very fluent also have difficulty. U can always count on English & Chinese? Most of them shd know Chinese. Unless they are haughty & look down on u being Chinses & can't speak Canto, but tt's a real myopic view lah

nope, "qian shui wan" is not causeway bay. it's repulse bay or something, cannot recall english name. *paiseh* but it's shaped sort of like a huge bowl. quite nice that beach. very gentle looking beach.

oooooh!!! shanghai ~ fantastic food!! shopping's great!! but need their local ppl to bring you around and do the bargaining. cos for them, if u dun speak shanghainese, chances will get "chopped" by them. mandarin still ain't good enuff for them. went there in spring. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL peach blossoms and plum blossoms!!! and really cold. wore 4 layers of clothes and still cold!! *shivers*

I always stay at Prudential when i go to HK.. but lately trips, i switched to my hubby's company hotel, cheaper... Prudential is a good hotel.. very near to Jordan MTR and linking to Prudential is already a shopping centre and lots of things to buy. There is a small shop selling alot of bags... nice nice.....

Try the Dim Sum restaurant directly opposite Prudential hotel... Not bad... but long queue...
If you like to eat You Tiao, beside Prudential, about a few street away is Kimberly street, behind Kimberly hotel, there is a small restaurant ( Cha Chan Teng) selling fresh You Tiao... nice nice.....

Yeah, Go GZ and whack the dim sum especially the Cha Siew Bao. Go to this restaurant call Guang Zhou Jiu Jia (near the River one)... Super Cha Siew Bao... For bags, u can go to the toys city... Lots of bags and nice things there.. Warehouse sales one...

we oso did considered abt these factors when we got it and actually i wanted to give up but hubby says it will be a good investment and since not everyone could get it (since itz thru balloting) so might as well take lor...somemore bery near to my work place...i oso hope next time got good resale value lor den maybe can sell it off in 5 years time and upgrade to condo??? kekekek....so u sick until blunder liao huh...no wonder didnt go work lah...hopefully u not in trouble...but they shld understand mah since u not feeling well and so might overlook lor.

me can't speak cantonese and when i was there in may last year, it was kinda bad cos they can't understand mandarin or english when i was at adidas so i tried my best to speak cantonese and ended up mocking by their staff behind my back...my hubby told me cos he was trying on some tees and he said they were gossiping abt how funny i sound...and i told hubby, yah...when they try to speak mandarin, they oso sound farnie wad...how can they mock behind my back!!! but a year have passed and so maybe now they can speak better?? or maybe itz just my luck to bump into such unprofessional sales staff. the last time we oso stayed in prudential. hehehe....very convenient, below the hotel got MTR liao...oh yah, qian shui wan = repulse bay and tong luo wan = causeway bay??? me oso confused liao...oh yah, the weather should be pretty cooling...so do bring some warm clothing.

yest they weren't aware i was ill until i asked for time off, ie to go off early.. Afterall, only exam invigilation, needn't stay strictly till 130, unless teaching the graduating class.. Made the wrong choice to stay till end of the invigilation i guess.. Ought not to be a big issue *cross fingers & toes*

I hope ur HB's right abt the Pinnacle flat too.. I think its a really fantastic location for those who work in town. U really save on everything abt the car. The MRT is so accessible

So far it's 2 votes for skirt 1 & 1 for skirt 2.. Think i shall just ask Kim for her professional advice, coz get to take into consideration my hips. Hips may be a bit of problem, when it comes to chiffon gown. Later i look like a pear or worse still, pregnant!

judging from the ruching around the waist area, dun think will look preggie. this cutting is quite forgiving on the hips so no worries there. chiffon is material which is good for hiding flaws like big hips if the design is well-cut cos the material can skim the body and not cling to the body.
