My aunty would just got married engaged him but the makeup was so mild. It was almost naked makeup. Suppose really it depends on preferences for makeup styles but I for one was not impressed at all.

I have not gone for trial with TG, but looking at his portfolio &amp; his reputation, I trust that he is really good, so I went ahead &amp; booked him for my ROM, photoshoot, wedding day. I also requested for him to stay back to change my hairstyle for my 2nd march-in.

I met up with him last week, he's really a great guy, very friendly &amp; helpful. He gave me &amp; hubby lots of tips for our wedding.

I had my photoshoot last week, makeup by TG. he was really fantastic, my hubbie couldn't take his eyes off me, hehee..

according to hubbie, he really enhanced every feature, think he's really fantastic in bringing out the potential of each feature. oh, and he's great at hairstyling!! each look he created complements the dress perfectly. and what's most important to me is that the makeup looked really natural, photos came out looking like myself, just prettier..

i left everything to TG. basically he looked at the dress and me, and decided on the hairstyle and overall look himself. i just sat there 'gong gong' and let him do what he wants. no regrets trusting him though.. =)

I am not using my BS's MUA. cos I have 2 wedding dates so i am engaging external MUA. my BS is BV btw.

yes I am from the chrisling thread. not to worry. I am not gonna comment on John. cos My PS PG is CL. And I feel such things takes 2 hands to clap on garnering a gd experience.

i really hope you don't mind my being so suspicious earlier on, i was fairly freaked out by them, to tell the truth.

Real glad that the thread has been revived cos it was so quiet for some time...Desperation in finding a good MUA artist drove me to put up a post.

About your less than nice experience in the other threads - you just take the advice you need and the rest, as they say, is HISTORY.

I don't think that any of the brides from the CL thread were trying to be mean. If you remember correctly, you were the one who called us "biased" first, that's what got us upset

. As brides, we just want to have the best experiences thro' out our wedding, just like you. And like you, we are not in singaporebrides to flame or hurt anybody. We just want justice. Which bride doesn't want to enjoy her wedding preps and actual day? There was a bride who had complained personally to CL and ended up rebutted. This forum provides victimised brides an outlet to release their frustrations. That's why I complained about him here.

I understand that you are speaking from your good experience with him. Please understand that we are also speaking from our disappointing experiences with him. We also respect your opinion, just like you subsequently have. I believe in this forum, real brides want to make friends, not enemies. If you read my postings carefully, you'll realise I'm not directing them at you or making a personal attack on you. I didn't label you and any questions I've asked are merely rhetorical, not arrowed at you.

I can now fully understand how you feel about our responses since you mentioned you were "shocked" and didn't mean to antagonise anyone. I just hope that you could understand that the word "biased" is a very offensive term so naturally we took it kinda personally. Other than that, I could tell that you were very excited about your pleasant experience with him and were eager to share it with everybody.

I don't want to make another bride upset or affected, really. We are here to support each other. I'm sorry that you were "freaked out" by us. I didn't know you were so affected by the postings.

And please don't think I'm haunting or stalking you. I just chanced upon the thread.

I've just had my trial makeup with TG Goh and I must say that I'm really impressed with him.

Firstly, his make up kits are really clean and neatly layout. I'm really particular about this as dirty tools means potential breakouts and skin irritations. I've tried 4 other MUAs and their makeup was in a mess and the brushes looked really used.

Secondly, he is very patient and discuss on what I want and how I feel about certain things like hair (curly or long, natural or bun up etc.)

Thirdly, I was not comfortable with the initial hairdo that he created for me and he was so open to suggestions and accommodated to my needs!

Lastly, I will usually leave the makeup on according to the duration that I would need to have it on my Actual Day. I was still feeling really comfortable after 4 hours of wearing the makeup

This is crucial for me too as I don't want to feel all caked up and oily during my wedding.

I would rate him 9/10 for makeup, not sure about the hairdo yet so can't rate him on that.

I did not take any photos on my trial.
Anyway, I'm very fussy and particular about who does my makeup and their skills.

I always make a note after each trial session to ensure that I can compare them fairly. In my opinion, TG delivers. He uses good quality makeup product and that is important too so that I will not suffer any breakout or irritations.
