Tea Ceremony but no plans for gate crash

Hello!!
May I ask if anyone here has skipped gate crash?
I have an issue here now as the parents from both side has acknowledged that the wedding is a simple one. It was mentioned that tea ceremony will be held at the venue itself before dinner banquet, and there wasn’t any objection.

If the groom’s family made a sudden request for the bride to go over to their house early morning on the AD for the ceremony to their ancestors and parents. Is it too much for the bride’s dad to request for a proper car with basic decoration to fetch her to and fro, instead of fetching the bride quietly and back to her home quietly?

Any ways to skip the ceremony in the morning and do it before the AD?

following up on this thread with regards on the gate crash. My partner and I are not interested to have gate crash as well ( figured it does not make $$ sense to risk partner having tummyache/ sweaty body/ look like a clown on the big day where we paid a significantly sum of $ on)

You either go traditional mode ( fetch bride to 敬茶 usually? yours I'm not very sure falls under which catergory) or none. if cost is an issue, you can always consider to borrow your friend's or relative's / family's car and deco it up before picking you.
