Tamarind hill

Hello!

Anyone had their wedding at tamarind hill or attended one there?

Would love to hear some feedback.

We're thinking of making it a lunch instead of dinner.

I went to have a look and really like the place and ambiance. Food is supposed to be good as well. But the place is quite 'partitioned' which is good for normal guests as it gives you some privacy, but not so great for a wedding. The central area is the bar, not sure what people would do with the space there.

Thanks a lot!

I attended a wedding dinner there. The place was beautiful, with a chic and dressy-casual vibe. Food was excellent! The tables are long tables with partitions as you mentioned, so you're pretty much left to socialise with your own table. Then again, Chinese restaurants are the same. My friends used the central bar area as a gathering point where they would call wedding guests to gather, and then they made speeches, announcements, screened videos, and had the live band play. But your guests have to be comfortable with standing around the bar area while all this is going on. And you'll need a good sound system.
