hi alll...
recently im facing some work issue.
Im working in a small company and thinking to resign....but now i found that im pregnant (just a month).
Wondering should i just resign now ?
I have been for 2 years. Basically company is relatively small and flexible.
But recently i noticed boss not capable in managing people and quite dissapointed in his way of handling work & staff.

one of the colleague been giving us trouble like late in to work, being rude to other colleagues, vendors and even throwing temper to my boss. She got an obvious attitude problem But my boss still keep her & not taking any management action.

I have voiced out to my boss since day one but he kept finding lot of reason.
Our company has no clear direction and weak in internal work flow.

I would suggest u don't resign first. If u resign, u will not be entitled to the maternity benefits in your current company. That's 16 weeks of paid maternity leave (Provided u are having a Singapore citizen child).
Picture this - u resigned, losing all maternity benefits. U have to carry the baby bump and look for another job. If u are lucky to land into one considering that your future employer don't mind u going on 16 weeks of maternity leave after working for only a few months, u have to also adapt a new working environment, new people, new working culture, work performance etc. That's a lot of face especially when u are pregnant now.

Why not wait it out until u are back from your maternity leave. U can take the time to think it through during your maternity leave then resign if you really want to.
