hi chin leng. Can you please check on this user name, Leham.

keeps sending emails about renting of bridal cars.

i have gotten PMs from this user, and received a few emails that are not PMs. Normal emails that are mass mailed to other forum users too.

can you please check if this user is one of ur listed advertisers? (I dont think so) How do they get our email adds too? (esp if i dont reply to their emails or PM them in the first place?)

Thank you for the feedback. We've suspended the account of the user. This user is not one of our advertiser. In fact, we discourage our advertisers to send unsolicited e-mails. If there is any promotion or news, it'll be announced by us. Please also be assured that we do not provide our e-mail database to anyone for promotion purposes.

By default, our users' PM (private message) function is disabled. Once the account holder enables this function, only then, the user will be able to receive PM from other registered members. However, the sender of the PM still does not have your e-mail address unless you reply to the PM.

Alternatively, some service providers harvest e-mail addresses from the forum by scanning through the messages in the forum.. As such, we strongly advise our members not to expose their e-mail addresses in the forum.

Please be assured that we'll suspend any account guilty of sending unsolicited promotion PMs once we receive the feedback. Thank you.

There was recently (Wed 26 Apr) an unsolicited posting from user "schmoozing". found it at the Shangri-la banquet website. Not sure if they repeated that at other sites as well. Maybe you can block them or something. And remove all current posts -- they should not be advertising here.
