Solemnisation at the Botanic Gardens

Hi, this is a really exciting time for me. I never knew planning for a simple wedding could be this jittery. But guess I got to take it step by step. I can only start to book the ROM date from end August onwards, till them I am sourcing out the other things. I am really looking a very simple wedding ROM with a pax of less than 10. I just got off the phone with the ROM office, initially thinking I could do the ROM in house, but I think it's unfavourable as it works like a queue system with only a few minutes for each couple - that sux

So I'm thinking of sourcing out other lovely venues especially Botanic Gardens. I'm not sure of the procedures and how to go about, or the costs? If anyone can give me some tips, that would be useful. Please....

I am also searching for a nice place at SGB but Burkin Hill seems expensive, function halls/rooms looks abit seminar-liked. I have read somewhere that couples did their ROM at those metal gazebos you can find located in the garden. If you have a group of less than 10 pax, I'll think that it is manageable but do note that these places are open to public as well and you cannot book it beforehand.

Thanks for the information. Although BG is just one of the options I thought of with a nice scenery. I have a venue + food budget of $500. Tthe only people I have including myself and my fiance are less than 10. The metal gazebos sounds like a great idea although I'm just afraid that it might be occupied by the public.
I am a little out of ideas as to where to hold a simple ROM with a pax of less than 10 people. All the wedding/ROM packages I've seen costs above $1k with unnecessary things that I don't need and they have a minimum pax. Sad liao.

You can move to the greenery to take nice photos after the ceremony is done.

For your small number of pax, I will recommend Seed Room. I think you can spruce up the room with DIY decorations to save costs. I am not sure if the room can put buffet food though. You will have to call to ask.

I have checked with SGB, you can book the bandstand for ROM at no cost but only 1 table is allowed, no chairs.
