Sleeping different rooms after marriage

Would it be strange if married couples sleep in different rooms because both are not able to sleep together due to different sleeping habits? How hard it is to adjust to the sleeping habit of your spouse?

this is not unusual.. i know of a couple who sleeps in separate rooms. one of them can't sleep in air-coned room, the other can't live without aircon

well, I beg to differ here.

I would deem it unusual for a couple not to sleep together due to such reasons..

give & take lor.. as for sleeping habits, how bad is that?

as for AC or non AC room just give & take, on the fan for instance...

to me it is just some adjustments to be done. give & take is the key word here..

worriedsick is really worried sick, thinking of too many things ... are you really ready for marriage? seems like you're nitpicking on all the negatives, never on the positives ..

I don't think there is anything wrong by not sleeping in the same room.

A bit strange but depending on the peculiar habits - it is entirely possible.

While it is possible though unusual, it does limit the time and opportunity for intimacy. I cannot sleep without air-con or fan. So, the workaround is simply getting a strong fan directed at my direction only and getting a good cover for wife.

its just sleeping, not very unusual. can hv intimacy in one room, when its time to really sleep, the later sleeper go other room lor.

i know of a few such couples due to working hr reasons.

Funny, my fiance and I also have the air-con vs non aircon situation. I did suggest fan but he says still too warm. But I really cannot sleep in aircon leh. Blocks my nose and the lack of fresh air is not good for my asthma.

"No no, not ready for marriage. Never ready for marriage. It is too scary...."

wah... so scary hor. Funnie how mankind can go thr it for so many centuries. SO SCARY. r u going through your life being too afraid to LIVE IT?

I don't know...I just got scared of the "marriage" word. All the problems that I would be expecting with in-laws and hubby can be too much for me to take.

Marriage is not just a word. Rather, it holds a special meaning to the couple.

Getting married or avoiding marriage for the wrong reasons are both just as unwise.

sg really seem in the rise of divorce... my soon to be ex-wife office colleague 90% divorcee... most reason hb affair wth friend/ofis ppl... so sad really.... wondering is my wife also having affair thts why wanted to seperation...

umm i can't stand it if he snores tho. so i try to knock myself out first by turning in earlier.

personally, i like snuggling on his shoulder too much to sleep in a separate room. =X

yes it is very weird. i would not accept my spouse sleeping in a separate room unless there is a very good reason for it.
