Hi, I was a skinny bride, so my WG was different in that it had a china collar. Here's a picture of how I looked.

try supplementing your meals with Ensure milk. i mean, on top of your 3 regular meals, drink Ensure milk in between meals too.

Hi everyone!

I am sooo glad that this thread exists! I too, am a skinny bride to be! Ht 158, WT 38 to 40 kg. I'll be going to the gym to build mass though

hopefully will help before my AD. Im currently sourcing for BS. Have made appointments with Amanda Lee, SIL, The Wedding Present and Rico-A-Mona. Any comments of advice?

Hi bzbz! well, im going to join gym and go for cardio lessons, like body combat or body attack. Will start off with general gym training like lifting weight, threadmils and stuff first to get my body familiar with the exercises. hee... i wont be taking med/ weight gaining pills thou from GNC and stuff cos i have a lot of frens who advise me against it. My AD is on boxing day

so still have some time.
yup, most likely might MTM, unless i spot a design that i really like that is already there. will share feedback with you when i go there over the week

Hi bzbz! I went to SIL, TWP and ALW over the weekend

And here are my feedback:
SIL: Very beautiful tulle dresses! Even for our very skinny built, the dresses fits rather nicely and wont get lost in it. I liked two of the dresses there.
TWP: Designs were just okay... as most of the dresses that caught my eye on their website were all either too old or bought by other brides; according to the designer. So I was very disappointed and tot that if that is so, its time they update their webby lor! cos the designs on the webby, according to the designer who attended to me, were like 3 to 4 years old?! Nothing very much special that caught my eye there. I was disappointed and the designer I tot was a little cold? and He was like "want to be done and over with it as soon as possible."
ALW: Amanda herself attended to me. She was extremely warm and professional. Honestly, she is like really of another league as compared to the other designers i met. Her gowns thou little, but very very beautiful and exquisite. I fell in love with her gowns and most likely will be engaging ALW. But I do admit her gowns are on the higher range...but, it is really too beautiful to resist. Even my HTB was like, "wow..."

So these are just some of my comments. I guess its really impt for you to be comfortable with not only the design, but also the designer/ coordinator? Cos i went to 7 shops over the weekend, and only ALW made the best impression on us. and my HTB is someone who is not easily impressed. hahah.. but each to its own, i suppose.

I am also a skinny bride .. 38kg 1.54. I have just sign bridal package.. Don't need to worry about the grown .. Actually we still have choices

my bs is My Bridal Room, they told me, skinny brides are much better than big sizes, cause too big can alter to smaller, but too small cannot alter bigger! so we actually have much more choices

hi guys im a btb. im sorry but i am not singaporean. i am a filipino but i have the same problem and has been looking for forums like this that can help me with my weight problem as well. i am 5 feet and 1 inch tall weighing 38 kg. my mom told me that the gown ive chosen to wear does not fit my size. please give me your comments on this. i just thought it would flatter my body coz eventhough i have a flat chest what i can show off is my hips. i thought the layering on this gown would help the illusion that i have a bust and since the lines are going towards the hipline it would divert the attention to my hips. please let me know your thoughts. thanks.
