SIMEI DWELLERS RETURNS

anyone found a good massage place or facial place in simei? i went to chrysalis once to redeem this voucher and their service also really cannot make it.

think a few spas had some roadshows in simei but i steered clear cos they always try to hardsell. just wondering whether anyone found something good with minimal hardsell (i know no selling during the sessions is next to impossible).

Hi all

I am not a Simei dweller but do go there sometimes. Has anyone tried the laundrette at the mrt? The price is quite good for drycleaning, just wondering if they are reliable and will take good care of our clothes.

Any comments on their service?

yup i usually use the eastpoint one too.

they are building new design and build flats (DBSS rite?) at Simei Road near the 150-160 flats... but think not so soon only ready in 3 years. I saw some surveyors testing the soil tho.

Hi Michael and Tequila

FYI I made a price comparison with the 2 shops and the one at the mrt was actually cheaper. Hence I went to the latter. My dress came back ok, with all sequins intact. The one at Eastpoint (I presume you're talking about the one at the basement) told me they would not be responsible should the sequins fall out. That was fair but the one at the mrt assured me they would take due care of it. Of course I chose to go with the one who offered me assurance. Plus they were cheaper. You might like to check them out next time. Their prices are laid out on the counter.

Hi,
I m also a Simei dweller. But selling my house soon. Sad to leave. I will miss Simei for its serenity and also singapore expo. So convenient. Alway the two first few to grab the good offer when there is a sale going on and can alway go back to exchange and shop again .

Also like the peacefulness and greenery here. The sunbirds have alway come back to my unit to build nest. Used to bring my kids for morning walk along sunbird circle . There are durian trees, mango, banana, tropica, bittergourd, sugarcane along the pavement behind Simei Green.
It is like living in a quiet n cosy estate yet with easy access to all the amenities.

I am looking to let go of my 4A HDB at Simei area. The unit is located at high floor, lift level and near to amenities (MRT, childcare, eateries, shopping center). I have just renovated my place 1+year ago (new kitchen cabinet, laminated flooring for whole house, rainshower etc) and have to sell it because of relocation to oversea.

The valuation has been conducted just last week and the report is available. Please PM me if you are interested for more information or arranging for viewing.

it's a good time to sell now. can fetch very good price. now most sellg at least $30k above valuation. even e valuation is so high now.

yes, the valuation is indeed high. i am thinking to sell the unit without an agent and pass-on the savings to buyer. this is the reason i am asking for a very reasonable COV even though my place has just been renovated last year.

Hi I am a serious buyer, looking for a 4 / 5 room flat near Simei MRT. Nowadays the COVs are getting too high, I would like to buy direct from any seller and cut off any agent fees to save on COV.

Could you PM me if any you or any friends and relatives staying in Simei are selling their flats?

Thanks!
