I have broken up and came back together twice with my bf.I initiated the break up due to personality and values differences/clashes but came back together as he's a "safe" marriage partner. However due to his wk,we have been on a long dist relationship for almost 2yrs.

1yr ago,we applied and paid deposit for our flat (not yet ROM though).
However, i have increasing doubts abt our marriage.Firstly,I dun miss him even without seeing or hearing fr him. When he calls i no longer feel the urge and joy to talk to him.Besides I am on friendly terms with other guy friend.I have hinted to him on several occasions abt possiblity of us drifting apart but he doesn't see it as an issue.
How should I proceed? I feel apprehension and wasn't the least bit happy whenever relatives bugged us abt our marriage?

Jac, please wake up!

You fcuked up your life in the beginning just because you felt that your guy is a "safe" marriage partner...

And you expect people to help with your current predicament?

Given the mess that you're in now; just do the right thing for once.
Break up with your current guy NOW so that you don't SCREW UP his life later. He deserves BETTER than that from someone who is just using him as a spare type...

I hope you do the RIGHT thing the next time you go into a relationship with another guy!

maybe you could try talking to him directly and not hinting him, tell him straight how you had felt about you all drifting apart. have a heart to heart talk.
I do know that girls would hope that guys will be able to sense the feeling that girls are having even without the girl having to tell the man but this is not the case a man can do everytime. this could be a case where he did not get your hint and not that he does not seems that it is an issue.
it would not be wise to bottle up all your feelings without him knowing it and suddenly you explode to a point of no return.

Jacqueline,

Please tell him. I was in the same shoes as you in that I felt we had nothing much in common. But I was young, naive, had low self esteem and felt that as he is a good man, and I went into the marriage despite my deep underlying doubts.

Fast forward a few years, I went overseas, realise I do not miss him at all, no common topics, and I found someone I really care about, a soulmate, many common interests, but just a friend cos I cannot pursue the relationship as I am already committed.
