Should guys pay more for a wedding?

Hey Christine,
Although its very common nowadays that couples co-share for a wedding, I do feel that guys should pay more for a wedding. Hehe. But I suppose its not possible if your man doesnt have much savings or earn much. It would be gd if the guy can pay more..if not, I guess its still a 'team' effort.
Thats the case for me..Bf not much savings and more commitment so I gotta fork out more.
