Sheraton Towers vs Regent Singapore

Lovely Ladies,

Would like to hear your comments as I'm planning for my upcoming wedding.

Just attended one at Sheraton in June. The food was acceptable and the service was pretty good. I was a jiemei so I had to deal with the manager a bit... he was fine but not very helpful when we wanted to set up our decorations... he was quite curt and didn't want to reply one some things. But they were really good to let us have another room near by to prepare some things. The equipment they use for playing the music, etc was a little old though. They had to change a few players and laptops before the montage could be played properly. If you're having a photobooth with live view, the distance between the photobooth area and the laptop is too far so the photobooth guy had to keep walking to and fro to update.

If i have a choice, i will go for sheraton for the location.. 5min frm newton mrt.. =)

I think Sheraton is one of the places where the banquet hall didn't have odd lighting. Some places like Pan Pac has pink/blue/green lighting (it keeps switching around) which can ruin the photographs? I like how Sheraton kept the colour warm (a little yellow) but soft enough for photographs. Ambience was great I feel.

Am considering Sheraton Towers too. Their food is quite good. But so far the event consultants' reply has been lagging and not so helpful..
