ROM in Hotel Suite - Feedback needed thanks!

Hi everyone,

I am intending to hold my ROM for 10-12 pax in a hotel suite, followed by Hi-tea or chinese lunch after that. It will be held end of this year.

My AD is next year, and casual checking with hotels is that some hotels can "close one eye" doing ROM in suite, while some say cannot. So I am scared if I am denied of holding the ROM in the suite when the day comes.

I wanted to check if anyone has any experience or heard of friends holding their ROM in suites, and if so, I will like to know which hotels are fine to do so. I have a few in mind, just wanted to get more feedback....

Is your high tea or Chinese lunch gg to be at the hotel function room?

Cause if it is then a lot of hotels offer the function room for Rom foc and you wouldn't need to do the Rom in the hotel suite?

No it will be more like a meal in the chinese restaurant or hi tea buffet within the hotel, not in the function room. Thats why I have to do within the suite.

Its kinda hard to get the hotel to cater for 10-12 pax.

Oh I see. Cause I tot there are quite a few hotels with function rooms for like 10-12 pax and you can have both the meal and your Rom there

Royal Plaza on Scotts(in Orchard) allows you to use their Corporate Suite...And no limit on any numbers i believe.Not sure about their meal options...i know they have a lunch/buffet spread..your family can have it in the private dining room which allows a min of 12 and max of 14 pax.
They are undergoing renovations now..but since yours is next year..im sure its gona look pretty by then..

My cousin took a package by Fullerton for solemnisation at the open air balcony of the bridal suite. Cost her a good $5k++, but if cost is not such a big consideration, then by all means.

I didn't find any info online regarding rom in hotel. This is the only post I've seen but nobody has replied since last dec 2013.

I like to hear some opinion.

I believe all can do depending if you notify the management. Do but don't get caught lo lol.

Reviving this thread.. but it is possible to do it at Fullerton at their loft suite, Mgt can close one eye..
