Review: Elas Dress

Just went for a gown fitting at Elas Dress at Orchard Plaza. According to the owner, i was told that they are having a change of ownership as the previous boss has just left.

So anyway, i went for the fitting. For myself i am a UK Size 10 and tried many gowns but most of them do not suit me. was informed that the selection was not very huge, but surprised that nothing fits me. Worse thing is, i do not like the evening gowns as they are not as good material as the other bridal studios.

2 turn-off points for me:
1) while i was changing half way in my underwear, the store assistant opened the curtain to see how was i, exposing myself to possible strangers who walked past the store. Although she apologized, it felt very inconsiderate and inexperienced for her to do so. that earns me a pissed off feeling
2) the can-can that i tried on was tied on rather than elastic band, so she had to stuck her head near my butt and under the skirt to tied the can-can. and while doing so, her long nails scratched me. very pissed off again.

Final point, i would say that the evening gowns are mostly in thinner material and suits smaller size girls who are of UK Size 6 or Small, as they do not help to cover your flaws or fats for bigger built girls. but the store assistant still kept saying "it is a nice dress despite the dress being too tight for me"

Only saving grace for this company is their cheaper package rates.
Eventually, i did not take up their package though. honest feedback for you all brides-to-be to make the decision
