rendezvous or novetel hotel?

Been shortlisted these two hotel? Which is better? Any experience with them? Really need your advice! ^^

Been to these 2 hotels wedding showcase recently.. If you are looking at food wise Novotel would be a better choice... My bf feedback to rendezvous and was told that they outsource their food be it AD or wedding showcase..

Novetel having promotion recently so is slight cheaper than rendezvous. Viewed both room, novetel is newer but rendezvous abit old but i found the room is cosier and intimate. Can't find much review of these two esp. Rendezvous..so abit worry for the food & service. Thanks your advice. It helps! ^^

I went down Novotel Clark Quay yesterday! The Cinnamon Ballroom is new, classy and very beautiful! The price for the wedding package is good too! They having an online promotion, cash rebates! Their perks are excellent too! )

I went to my friend's wedding at novotel.. omg food was horrible, crispy chicken was cold and hard, sea-bass had a fishy taste to name a few.. service was totally off as well.. the server did not know where is the washroom....zzzz.............I think there are many similar priced hotels elsewhere.. best to avoid novotel

I heard of many comments about novotel as well. All negative about the food n services. When I was booking my banquet they actually have alot of perks n discount off per table. Too good to be true but after knowing the reviews I think it's not worth the expense of your guest unhappiness. );

Hi I'm a Rendezvous 2015 bride, can't say much about their food during a wedding banquet but I went to their wedding road show, found the food okay. I think I settled for Rendezvous because their ballroom is small and cosy and there's only one wedding banquet per night, it's exclusive. I just went with my gut feeling to go with them and I think you should too. Every hotel has their own pros and cons, the choice lies with what you are comfortable with.
