Hey Snowy, my HTB & I had signed up a wedding dinner at Holiday Inn Orchard last weekend. We had visited the Crystal ballroom before we signed up. The hotel lobby & ballroom are grand. I love the fact Crystal ballroom is the only ballroom at L2 & its a private rececption area (no sharing of reception on same level with other wedding on the same day as mine). The flooring at the reception area is marble (carpet looks less grand). The crystal & lightings effects are very beautiful. The hotel can lay dance floor for HTB & I as we are performing a live Latin dance. They have a video taking on the dance floor & screen it on a projection on the spot. This meets our needs!
The ceiling height is 5.2m high with a drop to 3 m on 1 side of the ballroom which I doesnt matter to me. My package is a 9-course menu with free flow of wine & beef at $1235/table.
You may be eligible to a smaller ballroom (Orchid) considering your min is 18 tables.
I have not been to Rendezous & Concorde Hotel so unable to comment.
