Hi all! I need some advices here! I have never thought of having a overseas pre wedding shoot due to the high cost incurred. however I came across this promotion recently -

http://www.weddingforum.sg/wedding-...rseas-pre-wedding-|-actual-day-wedding-10033/

and my wtb is really interested and excited about it. we have emailed them and gotten pretty much all the information we need and it looks pretty good to be honest. I wonder if anyone has engaged a photographer separately from the bridal studio and could advise on the rental of gown, make up artist and other things to consider?

Thanks in advance!

Rental of gown - many bridal shops will allow you to take a gown overseas, and Paris should be ok. They are fussier if you go to a beach coz you might trash the dress in the sand and water. I got mine from this place called Made for Princess, she was awesome and the price was inclusive of alteration, accessories for two weeks. I got a light gown that was easy to pack (didn't crumple) but I've seen photos of other brides in really elaborate gowns, so it's really up to you.

Make up artist - the photographer should be able to advise you. Some photographers will have recommendations. In my case my photog brought along a make up artist, and she followed us around the whole shoot - carrying out barang, helping do the touch up etc. it was very helpful!

Paris in march is still relatively cold, so do bring along a coat.

Good luck and have fun!

Hi rainy! thanks for the advice. Sure, will definitely check out Made for Princess(good company name, haha).

My photog will bring a assistant also, but doing mainly light set-up. I doubt he/she can do make up. hahaa.

yeah. im sure I will be fine in my suit. Ill prepare for my wtb :)

Thanks!
