Pre-marital health screening

Hi,

I would like to ask if any couples have gone through/planning to do any pre-marital health screening.
Would appreciate if can share your reviews and thoughts about doing such screening. =)

hi, did the screening at Raffles medical (Jurong) had examinations of breast...blood test...bmi etc... and meeting with the female doc when the results are out
I later realised that the focus seems to be on HIV test...which i dun have to worry about....
later i found out that what I want to do should be Fertility check....

For pre-marital screening, do check thru what checks r in the package & compare it with the annual health screening checks (if ur company provides). A few items r the same, so dun waste $ on the package. The impt ones r Thalasssaemia screening, HIV/Syphillis. Pelvic ultrasound scan, semen analysis, etc (fertility test) if u r intend to have babies so u won't have to do another screening again after marriage when u want to try for kids.
I remember DBS credit card got promo for such screening. Gonna google a bit to dig out what r the tests in the package.
