Poolside/Nature evening wedding reception?

Hi, does anyone have any ideas/suggestions for a wedding reception at poolside/nature for about 100-120 pax? Good food (buffet/bbq buffet/set meal with dessert buffet), free flow of drinks and alcohol, nice ambience. Budget about $60-100/pax. FH and I are looking for an intimate and cosy ambience whereby we can mingle freely with our guests and everyone can have a ball at the party

That's why no wedding banquet for us. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

i guess u might be shocked upon knowing that outdoor wedding can be even more expensive than holding in normal hotel ballroom/restaurant...

but well, outdoor wedding is indeed very cosy and romance feel...

i will be doing mine at Onerochester...

Hi I just signed up with 1 Rochester too. The prices are actually comparable to the 5 star hotels. They have different settings. 1 rochester is garden colonial house, 1 twenty six is beach/garden at east coast, 1 caramel for chic White n the new 1 Attitude at 60+ storey at raffles place area, overlooking the marina bay.

My fren held hers at Suburbia in sentosa. Non a/c though.

Some places that was considered were the East India rooms or Bar and Billard room in raffles hotel or the waterfall room or pavilion at shangri la.

i havent set a date yet for my big day. hmmm Oneorchester can do a customized package according to your requirement too... for mine, it's costing $130/pax for a buffet dinner...

Can I check with you if you are having all proper dining tables setting for your guests? Now One Rochester is telling me the normal set up is lounge chairs and coffee table and there will be money to be topped up if dining tables are used.

However when I signed up at the bridal fair, the dining tables were all set up and shown and there wasn’t any mention of additional costs….

Not sure when you are having your wedding at 1 rochester. But my planner told me that LTA is taking back part of the garden area next to the gazebo area for road works/expansion. But they may extend the garden spaces in other sides.

My wedding wasn't affected much but there was a big bulldozer of sorts. Started to cut down trees at the roadside already.

You better check with your planner if this change will affect you. Pity that they are reducing the outdoor spaces...
