I'd like to do a shoutout for The Aisle! I'm a plus sized bride (UK 12 / 14) and they have a pretty nice selection of bigger gowns. For some of the popular designs, they even have a bigger version of the original gown. Of course, the selection for ballgowns is a lot wider than other cuts like mermaid or trumpet. I heard that the evening gown selection is pretty limited but my coordinator (Jeoncy) was very quick on catching on to my style and preferences. I pretty much loved every evening gown she pulled for me to the point where I had more trouble settling on my evening gown!
As a bigger sized bride, I never felt snubbed or judged. There's always the fear that gowns won't fit and people might make snide remarks, but that never happened here. She was very good at picking gowns that are flattering for my body type so I actually looked slimmer than I actually am! I'm excited to start my exercise / diet regime so that I can fit even better into the gowns. c:

But no choice, I've already signed so have to give them the benefit of the doubt. I was very worried before going down for my gown selection but Jeoncy seems very on top of things so I'll just have to hope for the best and jaga more. I'm taking precautions like having the contacts of the MUA so I can contact her myself to coordinate the timing, have my photoshoot on a week day so they'll be less busy / have the focus on me. For what it's worth, I'm happy so far, so hopefully things will remain this way. 
That will be a lovely way to celebrate National Day!
