Hi Charcoal_brown,
Good to hear to have a great time in Ivy-Bride.
My photo shoot would be on Oct.
Same coordinator as you, Kelly-jie.
Can share more details on your trip, like which hotel you stay, places you all went for photoshoot, how many days in TW?
Thanks

Hello Jenne,

thanks for your compliment!
bout the location:

1st photo: da tun hua yuan

2nd photo: National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (just opposite IVY BRIDE)

3rd photo: somewhere near Yangmingshan National Park

Most of my photos are taken around Yangmingshan National Park. Basically all the locations i went were crowded with couples for their pre-wedding photo shoot. So was a bit upset initially BUT the photos turned excellent.

after i got back i went online to view other couples' pre-wedding photo shoot.
i find that the flowers at ¸»Ìﻨˆ@Þrˆö are nicer, so maybe you can suggest that location to IVY BRIDE?

i suggest that u go online and look at other couples' pre-wedding photos. Take note of those which u like, if possible print them out and bring them over to IVY BRIDE. The photographer will definitely know where the locations are. Or you can tell the photographer what do you want to feature in your photos (beside your HTB & U) e.g. for us we prefer the blue sky and sunset. So we got a few series of photos with the sunset and blue sky as background.

IVY BRIDE has a section of their homepage dedicated to the completed album of their clients. U can go there and see see. Buzz me if you can not find the link

fOR James,

-> crybaby
hope u are following this thread
for me, IVY BRIDE prepared and packed the enlarge photo & table top photo frames 2 days after we selected our photos.
For the enlarged photo, we just checked it in with our luggage and the table top photo frames we hand carried.
Because the BS needs to edit our photo and prepare the wedding album layout, the albums will be mailed to us.

-> everybody
Any BTBs who are interested to go for pre-wedding photoshoot in Taiwan, i strongly recommend you to attend the BS show at Suntec this weekend. There are a lot of Taiwan BS participating.

went to the BS roadshow at Suntec today, to visit kelly-jie and asked her lots of questions about my album layout.

and for the photo shoot venues - IVY BRIDE has a map of Taiwan that indicates all the hot spots for wedding photo shoot. And for each hot spot, there is a picture of the exact location printed on the map. It is an extremely useful tool. U can use this map to plan your photo shoot route.

For IVY BRIDE customers, please free feel to email kelly-jie ANY qns. You can write to them in english, they have an in-house translator. If not you can PM me, i will try to answer u based on my own experience.

& actually IVY BRIDE does provide the option for you to rent their gowns for your wedding in Singapore.
The BS just did not state it in their package.
I will be having 1 WG & 2EG freight over in Nov.
Kelly-jie estimated for me that my 1 WG & 2EG will weigh about 7kg and my two albums about 8kg. It will cost about S$10-$12 per kg to send the EG/WG/albums over.
She also mentioned that it is ok to dirty my WG/EG (no additional laundry charges) if i am being "sabotage" after my banquet, just do not damage the gown.

hope my info help.

Hi Apxelle and Joan

I'm glad to see other brides signing up with Harvard Marriage. I signed up with them last Sat at the Suntec roadshow. Abit regret that I didn compare with the other bridal shops from Taiwan.
Keeping my fingers cross now:p

When are you gals intending to take your bridal shoots?

Hi All,

I've just signed up with Ivy Bride in the recent bridal show in Suntec. Glad to see that there are good reviews on their services.

My coordinator is Elain. Very friendly, soft spoken lady. I'm planning to go over to Taiwan in Apr 2010, as they recommended that the period or Mar to May are ideal for photoshoots. Not too hot and not too cold. In fact, I checked out, and its actually spring time during that period.

And just nice, I'll be taking a pre-wedding honeymoon after my shoot. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. =D

I had just taken Pre wedding shoot from IVY Bride at Raffles City Wedding StreetPress fair. They are still there today as it is from 14-16 Aug.

I really hope it will be a good experience for us since you all have good feedback of them.

Hi all brides who went or is planning to go taiwan for photoshoot. Since the package is only for photoshoot, so you all will ala carte for your AD?

Hi Joanne,

I've already signed with a BS in Taiwan. What that BS told me was that they hv tied up with a local BS to provide us AD at a cheaper rate. So before you sign with a Taiwan BS, maybe you wanna check if they hv liaise with any local BS for ur AD. Alternatively, maybe you would like to ask them if they can tie up with a local BS for ur AD.

For me, i sign 2 packages. One taiwan and one local. The local BS is bcuz i really like their gowns so i decided to take up their package. However, will only do indoor shoot. Alternatively, you can ask your local BS if they can change the potoshoot for say AD photoshoot (X10hrs) or/with (X10hrs videography).
