mine is a long history hehe...I was an ex-PR, holding malaysian citizenship. My FH is Singaporean. My re-entry permit expired last year, I can't renew it cos I am currently working in UK. My FH and I need to ROM first before we can buy a flat.

Yeah, =) but I will only be back for 3 weeks for ROM and then back to UK again. They offered me a postgraduate course here with my new post. I decided to stay for another 2 years to complete the course. My FH will still be in Singapore.

i think ur date is not quite right..

i'm stil pending for dates, most likely in lunar aug which is sept..

so i can't consider ur package now..
 
Went down to negotiate with the hotel for banquet but some unhappy events occurred..

We wanted to change some of the dishes without any cost, go to their wedding show next month which have some perks but the coordinator said if book at wedding show, we can't change the menu at all.. but got perks like red wine per table..

The cooridnator said they can only reserve the date for us for 1 week afterwhich they will open the date for other couples.. They will contact us if any couple interested in the same date as us..

Feel a bit pressurized into committing.. my 2nd SIL advised us that we should sign the contract next month after the wedding show and negotiate with them on the perks in the meantime.. but it seems this cooridnator wants us to make a decision within a week..

We went to the Bridal Suite but feel like it is jus an ordinary suite..on the 14th floor.. instead of the 20th floor which Theresa / QQ had her wedding in 2006..

May's service is quite good. of cos we have to vet e contract agreement including e menu if there are any changes made to e menu..

I haven;t chosen e theme yet cos I booked last year but maybe got new themes this year..

I think Ganesan is e banquet mgr while May is e banquet exe..

at first some items are not included but when we sign e contract, some items are included..

actually my mum n bro liked e food so we arranged to go for e buffet lunch but requested to be cooked by banquet chef instead of buffet chef so we can taste his food..

The food is nice!
 
haven't leh.. neaer to e date then choose theme, favours bah..

but most prob not going for garden theme cos got bird cages?
 
I had my wedding last year dec served by May too. Her service is extremely good. My hubby and I had requested to take our PS @ the hotel. She assisted and arranged everything for us from PS 'till actual wedding day. Plus the food there is great... The bridal suite may not be veri big but nice deco!

HIPV have high ballroom which is quite grand.. n they have a staircase leading to e ballroom so quite princessy.. but it is more ex..

Park Royal @ Kitchener is reasonable price n nice food..
 
Hi, today i went down to the wedding show, i am served by Ganesan leh, is he really that bad? or i can choose May?
 

Hi, i had my wedding banquet last Nov at this hotel, and was served by Ganesan...he is a nice chap, very helpful...Jacqueline is right that the wedding suite is not big but it is quite cosy and very very new...
