Overseas Solemnization in USA

Hi, i just got back from the states, didn't register my marriage there..decided to do it in SG instead

will be cool to do it overseas, but i presume will be very troublesome. think SG don't recognise any solemnisation outside of SG. need to register at ROM in SG again.

I didn't do it in the states but will be doing it in Greece this may. It's optional whether u wanna register again your overseas marriage with rom when you are back, if not, it is still recognized in Singapore.

awwww, greece is so nice! you gonna send everyone there? you engaging photographer there as well?

i have a friend that wanted to do her solemnisation on the yacht, but she was told at ROM that if she held the solemnisation in open sea, ROM won't recognise the cert(because not in SG anymore). So she has to do the solemnisation while the boat is docked at SG harbour and sail out when its done.

Nah.. Just doing an elopement style wedding so it will just be the two of us. I hired a wedding planner there to sort out the paper documentation etc and event place, and also local photographer

Will be holding it in santorini! Hopefully the weather is good then

Oh awesome! Santorini is so niceee! Santorini has pretty good weather all year round i think. it will be good
