Overseas Photo?

I'm discussing with my FH about taking photographs overseas for pre-wedding. Of course....I would love to do it in Paris or Europe...but that's way out of our budget.

He said can do in Singapore because it's just the same. I am insisting we do it overseas because I went to some wedding fair, they look nicer. Sigh....

Anyone any recommendations for non-european countries?

It depends on your budget, but I must say there are a few nice places in Malaysia that has similar settings to Old English Style.

PM me your email address if you wan me to share some of pictures I took.

Hi Gwyneth,

Apart from the gorgeous landscapes and architecture overseas, it is the cool weather and the vacation mindset that will really make both of you feel at ease and comfortable which will really reflect in the images. =)
Bali is a gorgeous alternative if you are looking for somewhere near. If not Malaysia is cool too.
Hope that helps. =)

Hi Gwyneth,

agree with what Gwo Wei says. If you looking at nearby countries, try Bali or Vietnam.

My PG has a very good package for Bali trip this June. Very tempted to go with them but my htb has a worktrip so I cant go. If you want I can forward you the Bali photo shoot package that they forward me?

Talk to your husband, it took me some time to convince my husband to go for a overseas shoot too. He told me he is sick of flying for work, but this is for our wedding photo shoot!

Hi Jerlin,

I think the rule of thumb is we need to provide hotel and airfares for studios who are flying singapore staff over. that's from what i've gathered from the studios.

After some research, In my case, i contracted IDOWEDDING. They provide Korean photography shots. I think they call it concept wedding photography or something.

For their case, we don't have to provide cos their photographers are native koreas.

Min Min,

Thanks for your encouragement. It took me some time too. I finally managed to persuade him last week! ^^ I told him having a holiday cum pre-wedding photography is a way of saving money. :-P

After all, we go on one holiday a year. So, after hearing that, he agreed.

I'm all geared up! I think it's gonna be fun!!
