Ok to make wedding prep during 2nd lunar 7mth?

any idea is it ok to do any wedding prep like booking of bridal package, wedding banquet etc. during the 2nd lunar 7mth?

it depends on individual's tolerance and extent of "pantang-ness". For me, booking of bridal package,wedding banquet, etc is okay. But perhaps not ok is for in-laws to go seek auspicious wedding date from master, and for in-law get together to discuss wedding stuff...

my feng shui master told me the 2nd 7th lunar month is ok to do wedding preparation. he even choose my "guo da li" n "an chuan" on the 2nd 7th lunar month.

when does the 7th month end, and can i do foodtasting furing the 7th month if i isnt ending soon?

my family, FH and i arent really bothered aobut 7th month cos we are Christians, but his parents arent.. so dont know if they pan tang or not...

Lunar 8th month is 22 Sept.
Best if to check with FH's parents whether they mind foodtasting during 7th month. Different pple have different thresholds.

hi ribbon 7th month last day is on 10/09/2007 and I think you can do the rest of undone preparation on 12/09 onward.....me will be choosing my gown on 15/09 & following day is food tasting and also card printing

the best is don't do anything especially now only less than a week before 7th mth end.
for me, we didn't do anything like food tasting, clean our new house, delivery...but can still plan for wedding like having an idea of what items to DIY etc.

yeah i also heard cannot deliver furniture. no hacking and shifting and moving of furniture.

quite true. but i feel that we can still prep for the wedding in the minimal way as long as we dont carry out major wedding progs like PS, buying of customary wedding items etc will do. other den dat i feel that if time is a rush, well just do it. it is like a suppression and pressure to push everything to last minute.
