Hihi I'm a 5th nov bride as well. Its really amazing to see quite a few 5th nov btb :D anyway one of the jp that I emailed also asked me to email him at a later date (late July) to confirm as well. The other jp replied me saying she is available and requested some of my htb and mine particulars and her last email to me is keep in touch. Not very sure if that is a confirm one already. Lol

Hi, initially I wanted to book Zenon teh for my jp but he fully booked on 05/11/2016 thus I book Mr Tam Chee Wah

5th November 2016 BTB here as well! Just like to enquire why you guys chose 5th november? Because when i checked huangli they say its not a good date for wedding. Thats why im so shocked theres so many 5th november BTBs hahahas

I checked all the lao huang li and all say that day is not auspicious for wedding hahahahas! Which is why my father was dead against us having that date. But that is only one of the few dates that the church we are booking is available thats why we have to take it :p
 
Lol, then I don't know! But then again, I'm clueless about this kind of thing. Our wedding is on 19 Nov and we just anyhow picked that date because our venue was booked on our first choice (12 Nov) so we just pushed back by one week. And we picked 12 Nov because it was my birthday. :p

I guess the date is super popular for a reason though so let's wait for others to weigh in.

Ours is calculated by the fortune teller , my htb ba zi , my ba zi , my parents as well as his parents ba zi to calculate the date.. And it turns out that 5/11 suits us ... HahahA
 
HTB and me decided not to calculate the date for our wedding. Mainly because we are not superstitious lah and also because its very hard to get a date we want at the church. If we have to choose an auspicious date i think we can only get married mid-late 2017 /:

But quite nice to know that our inauspicious date (according to huangli) turns out to be quite auspicious since its so popular :D

HTB and my handwriting sucks so we prefer to get something that is printed but we dont know where to go to get it done /:
 
Guess wat today my live band call me to cancel my booking! Got a call saying that they want to refund me the deposit as there is no contracts sign. I didn't sign the contract as the details wasn't right. Without signing mean not confirm? But I have already paid deposit. Quite pissed off. But I guess I'm lucky to knw abt their service now rather than nearer to my wedding day.

I plan not to have gate crash as well due to time constraint. Most importantly is if your parents will mind anot? For my jiemeis i can settle them.. But for parents sometimes they will want the ambience and hype

Oh but the thing is i wont have jie mei as well haha..so quiet...i dont feel the need to have jie mei..only my htb side will have brothers

I'm not doing gatecrashing (to the joy of my bridesmaids and groomsmen), so I *think* I will be shifting the tea ceremony to the afternoon and just hold it in the hotel suite. My whole wedding is pretty small scale so only the closer relatives will attend the tea ceremony. Most probably, we'll have the tea ceremony right before or during the cocktail reception. The ROM will be held in the actual banquet venue before dinner is served.

Don't know if this plan will actually work out though! It's kinda just my wishful thinking right now.
 
Just had my gown selection today! It was so fun, although I realized that I really really need to lose weight. :p

Any misgivings I had about my bridal studio went away today when I finally met my coordinator (Jeoncy) for the first time. After a couple of tries, she started to get an idea of what I was looking for and pulled some really really lovely gowns for me. I know people say that The Aisle has rather limited evening gowns but I was actually more spoilt for choice for the coloured gowns. And I'm a plus sized bride (currently UK12 / 14) too, so I think that's pretty good. She's also really nice and considerate. I brought my fiance, MoH and mother along and she gave them ample time between each gown to comment and take photos. Very happy with her service so far!
 
JTS : if you girls are interested in printing photos for your weddig etc , or having photobooth , can quote my name : Cecilia.
I am enganging for my photobooth and so far he able to acceed to my request as I wanted customized backdrop etc. he currently having promotions for photo printings..

Hello! I am a Nov bride too if no changes. Else I got to move it to early 2017 which I dont want.

Any Zwedding brides to be? I am having some mixed feelings and it didn't helped when I read one of the bride experience with them. =( By any change anyone consultant is Grace? Thinking of changing mine. Any others to refer instead?
 
Ladies, have you all chosen gowns for prewed shoot? I jus did mine. But now I'm having second thoughts. Was it too early? What if they have new and nicer gowns down the road??
 
I am not planning to have gate crash too. So I am wondering how to plan the tea ceremony and day location shoots? Any one has similar experience/plans to share? Thank you!

@Clzh mine is dinner , planning to have our solemnization in the evening too.yours? I was thinking must fetch the bride in the morning but feel bad to get my relatives all down so early just for tea ceremony

Mine is also dinner. I planned mine as follow:

5.30-7am: makeup
7-7.30- put veil, take photographs with immediate family members
7.30-8: hubby to come and fetch me+ take some photographs (we don't have gatecrash)
8-8.30- back to groom's house (will reach even before 8.30 as we live a few streets away)
8.30-9.30: TC at groom's place+ eat tang yuan +take photos (TC only immediate family members so might finish even before 9.30)
9.30-10.30: go nearby for photos (planned to go seletar area which is near our place, or u can skip if you're not keen)
10.30-11: back to groom's place to change to Kua and head back to bride's place.
11-12pm: TC+ photos (immediate family members only)
12pm onwards: to the hotel to rest
4pm: I will get ready for rom (makeup)
6pm-6.20pm: rom ( it'll be quite fast I guess)
6.20pm-7.20pm/7.30pm: TC with the rest of our family members (I guess 1 hour should be enough if you don't have a lot of family members)
7.30-7.45: a very short cocktail, guests to be seated by 7.45pm
8pm: first March in.
