No Yum Seng or Cake Cutting

Hi all, for my upcoming wedding, my HTB and I are thinking of doing away with "yum seng" and cake cutting. Anybody did that for their wedding and how did you all pull it off? Would a good alternative be just a simple toast by the both of us to everyone?

Hi there, instead of cake cutting, both of you may wish to have a short welcome speech (note: different from thank you speech) after marching in. And instead of the 3x Yum Seng, you may replace it with a toast, "cheers".
