hi all,

hv not been logging in forum for quite some time preparing for my banquet but was all over after christmas... supposed to be a great relief for me, however 2 days later when we chk out, we got to know that our bridal car was badly scratched at the side near the rear tyre... n there my in-laws told us tat someone found the tyre of our bridal car was punctured during our banquet n there was a bit of commotion but no one alert us on it as they dun wan us to worry... my god, we borrowed a new merz 350 from a fren, n he immediately engaged ppl to change his tyre for $600 in the middle of the dinner!!!

tat's not all, after which the next day he realised that the side was deeply cut, and he suspect it should be the reason why the tyre was punctured!!! but we hv no proof.... does anyone met such incident b4?? we are really at a lost n dunno what to do, we wan to inform the hotel to claim from them, but how?? wat are the chances??

I doubt u can claim anything from your hotel as most of the time, vehicles are parked there at the owners' risks.

Unless there's CCTV installed inside the car then that's a different story.

I feel you ought to compensate your friend for the punctured tyre and also respraying costs if its bad enough since he lent his brand new car to you out of goodwill. That's the least you can do.

I help my sis borrow a Mercedes from my boss, it was scratch due to the deco, I have it smoothen at my own expense.

If its dinner thats lousy its easier to get compensation but if its car thats in the carpark think you need the CCTV to check who deliberately did that.
