I am having the wedding lunch in the hotel.. just that hotel doesn't provide wine. Just free flow beer.

I don't think it's an issue, depending on the style of your wedding and your guests. Wine might appear more classy and refined but bad wine will simply leave a bad taste anyway. However, if you do end up wanting wine, either request to try their house wine or take note of corkage charges and get your own.
