Memoire & Co.


Hi! I signed up with them. I am more particular about the chemistry between the coordinator and us. My wedding is in Dec 2015. We have actually placed a deposit with another bridal studio but after much consideration decided to go with Memoire & Co. because of the coordinator, designer and overall service.

I had sign up with them during their road show @ their pre-launch Vivo during March, manage to get not-a-bad deals.
My wedding will 21st June this yr, understand it is quite rush, they manage to schedule my timing well.

From the beginning of gown selections, to fitting... I must say their service was great and most importantly... for US*-Brides were their gowns. Very well designed with excellent beading quality which I visited almost all bridal boutiques @ Tanjong Pagar.. they were unable to fulfil the beading detailing part, and I found Memoire & Co. did very well on this detailing part.

For Pre-wedding shoots, make-up artist was very experience, she was well prepared with accessories to match the selected gowns. I wanted a look from my mobile on that day and she manage to do it effortlessly. *Very impress!
For the photographer allocated to us, we are impressed as well <Commenting this after we selected out photographs 2 weeks ago>
He was super humorous, and we are not professional models, he manage to cool us down and crack jokes to make our shots look natural... the photographs turns out to have the feel*, he did some colour editing on the photographs, created different looks with different feel.

**They got big studio for indoor shoot with different feel** I did 3 indoor shoots gowns, and 1 outdoor shoot.

sooo far... I think for a new company, and based on their confident and professionalism during their road-show... we signed and we are impressed with their services and sincerity... specially with during our selecting of photographs.... (Heard too much unhappy experience from my friends...) they aren't pushy, they hope the album of ours turn out nice, ... they guide us through the selection and what to select and what not do... we do it in a very comfortable paces!

..... will view the album layout this week...... will up-dates more until I see my album:)
 
Me too! Recently signed up with them for a prewedding package at a roadshow at Orchard Gateway and it was quite a hasty decision. I have not been to the boutique to look at their gowns so I'm a little nervous and afraid that I will regret. Will appreciate if anyone can contribute any of their prior exp. with this bridal.
 
I have been to their boutique at Pertain Road during their open house earlier this year. They have a large selection of gowns and the quality looks good. I think what clinched the deal for me was the service by the staff. They were genuine in understanding and catering to my requests. I have also bought a package for my wedding next year. Hopefully this good service continues!
 
I had my trial make up done and I am also going for my photoshoot with them next week ! They have been really friendly and nice to me. My coordinator is Janice. So much praise for her =D

Hi! How would you rate the gowns? Did you have difficulty in finding something you like?
 
Any updates on the reviews? Realise several people only posted 1 nice write-up upon signing up package with memoire then no subsequent posts le.. :/ is it becos memoire isn't up to the expectations?
 
I went to their shop recently. Their white gowns all looks good but I heard that their evening gowns selection more limited.

Anyway I've also placed a deposit with them recently. But yet to do anything. Those who have experiences pls share!!!

i visited their boutique over the weekend. saw a few racks of gowns (didn't make appt for fitting) and found a few pretty ones. however, was informed that many of the gowns were out as these few weekends are popular wedding dates, so it might be better for us to visit on a weekday to see the full selection.
the personnel wasn't pushy in her sales which we feel quite relieved.
 
Hi everyone! Just thought I'll contribute a quick review and hopefully more BTBs can come forward with their own experience with Memoire & Co.

My HTB and I went down on 24/09 for a trial fitting. It was our first time to Memoire & Co and we signed a prewedding photoshoot package during one of their roadshow. We didn't sign up for an AD package as we wanted to keep our options open.

We were attended to by Yan and she is quite nice and patient, allowing me to try as many gowns as I like. What I like most is that she allowed my HTB and I to have our own privacy in discussing what we like, how we looked etc. She did not butt in to say what is nice or what is not nice, instead letting us decide what we feel comfortable in. Another plus is that she is not pushy with sales, after all she knew that we hasn't sign up for an AD package yet, and she could very well pushed us to sign up for one. After that, she showed us around the studios; I must say its quite troublesome to climb up and down the steps but perhaps I just need to train my stamina haha.

Yan also told us that a lot of gowns are being used at the moment so the collection looks quite limited. Some gowns that I tried on looked a little bit dirty/ old/ worn on the inside but the outside are still OK. Some designs are actually quite "orbit" so I am still thinking whether to sign AD with them. Otherwise my first impression with Yan is quite pleasant and our meeting took about 2 hours.

I am still going back to try on more gowns so hopefully I can find something I like. For the guys it's also quite limited at the moment but my HTB is not very picky so its more likely that his suit will be settled more quickly.

Hi there! I was attended by Yan too during my first visit to see the gowns. She is really patient.
May I ask do you have many selections for the pre-wedding shoot gowns? For my case I booked AD with them but paid extra to rent the gowns for my own pre-wedding shoots. The boss told me as my pre-wedding shoots are outdoor, they can only offer a limited range of gowns for rental in case i damage those new ones. Is it the same for you?

Hi! On the day of signing we were told that in cases when we cannot use the selected gowns for outdoor shooting, it can be used for indoor shoot. But on the day of fitting we didn't make any final selection. I felt it was quite limited though.
 
hello looking to let go of my VIP memoire&co prewed + AD package (worth $4388 of which i have paid $2388) due to change in wedding plans. the package includes most of the usual PLUS a MTM gown (evening or wedding).

Hi, does your package includes AD Photo and video?
 
i have done my pre-wedding shoot with them and will be viewing my photos tomorrow. Janice is my coordinator and she's really patient and nice :)
So far the experience with them have been great. Will update again!

Hi Ohmytego, I would rate the gowns 8/10, I feel that their designs are what I was looking for. I love lace, and they happen to have a lot of dresses with lace. Previously I signed up with another bridal studio in 2013. Out of curiosity, I went to Memoire & Co's fashion show. I immediately fell in love with their dresses so I actually dropped the other package and took up a full package with M&C just because of their dresses! And on top of that, the service they have rendered.

I havent taken mine! but seeing some of the pictures posted on their other thread makes me worried as the editing and lighting seems off... was yours alright?

To me it was alright. I think I know what you mean by the lighting a bit off. But I believe you can let them know if you are not satisfied with the lighting and editing, they should be able to make changes.
I don't like overly done photos, because I still want to look like me. So I think it depends on what you want.

Hello, is your hair done by Joann too? how do you find her skills for both makeup and hair?

I have some ideas for hair style now, but not sure whether it would suit me and the gown. Would be great if the MUA can advise..

Joann is friendly, her makeup and hair is fine, during the prewedding shoot, she airbrushed my face. It look good on camera, but it's a bit thick in real life.
I think if you have ideas for some of the styles you can share and show her so she will be able to replicate the kind of look you are going for.

thanks for your reply! is Joann PRC? if so, i think i met her before at memoire.. :) she was doing hair for a bride taking photoshoot, and her hairstyling skill is quite amazing.
 
Hello, I went for the wedding show by SPH at vivo last saturday and signed a package with Memoire too. They showed me good fb reviews on their iPad but I can't seem to find them on their fb.
I think the package they offered is not bad, didn't know they were this new because the boss had like 25yrs experience? and I subconsciously think that their shop is 25yrs old. haha

I have no dates for my pre-wedding and AD yet so can't give any reviews yet. Hope to hear from more good reviews!
 
I would say the ppl there r reli very nice! The new collection gowns r nt bad too if u like tube gowns. As for their photography skills im stil quite worried and wary. Wil update again :)
