Hi Guys,

I'm rather new to all these wedding stuffs,so just want to seek some advise with some topics:

1) Which Malaysia bridal shop in JB is good?I saw in some threads that Castalia wedding ,Venus wedding are good?what about vivi wedding?

2)Does malaysia bridal shop have AD package that provide their services in Singapore?Though of saving money to hire their services in JB instead but BF insists wedding must be at SG?Does Castalia wedding offer their services for SG's wedding?If not,which SG bridal shop offers good range of gowns and value added services for AD?Is La Belle good for their AD?I want to get at least 2 gowns,1 Kwa and 1 evening gown for AD?Best to include Parents' dresses or gowns

3)What about wedding banquets?Is Genting Resort Jurong good?I plan to go for lunch banquet,saw Mount Faber also not bad?

Hi, I have sign up for Genting Resort at jurong for my wedding next year Dec. Signed up during their fair in mar and got quite a good deal. My mum's company dinner was held there and she mentioned that their food was quite good.

I just signed up with castalia yesterday in jb. Wasn't sure how good their service is and what are the gowns available. But I felt that they are not very pushy in selling their package. Heard from Helen (castalia coordinator) that they are increasing their price in May. I have not checked with them if they provide AD photographer and MUA services but the package does include AD gown and suit and also brooch for groom and hand bouquet.

Congratz !!!wow so when u book for next year Dec, is there still slots for next year? But when u sign for castalia, they can provide services in sg? Hmm, what did you buy from castalia? How much did you spend ,curious how much u spend bcos I at the budgeting stage. What about for your banquet?

I booked them on 1st Dec 2018 for dinner banquet. I got it at around $1100nett with quite good perks cause we signed up on their fair. When I booked them in Mar they still have quite alot of slots. If you want dec 2018, I would advise to book asap as year end banquet gets taken up quite fast.

I took up Castalia package for only outdoor shoots as me and my bf we don't like indoor. Package is RM5088 + 6% GST. Doesn't include amp and eye lashes for make up. Cause it's only outdoor shoot, they only allow 2 outfit and you can bring one own casual wear for the shoot. They provide AD gown and suit, Brooch, hand bouquet X1 and also the bridal car deco, they also allow us to bring up to 10 cars ( if you have a lot of brothers and sisters) for the car deco. Basically, you only have to find your own photographer, videographer and MUA for AD.

They don't provide photographer, videographer? What is MUA? Oh, but yours is pre shoot and AD? Do they allow u to customize your package? Are u allowed to add gown for your AD?

Their package does not include AD photographer and MUA (make up artist) for AD. We exchange some of the item from the package for additional gown on AD. Mine is pre wedding and AD gowns and coat. You can discuss with them what are your wants and don't want from the package. They are pretty flexible with the amendments.

I signed up for Castilian package for indoor and outdoor last Friday. Indoor four outfits and one outfit with the package of RM4688 as I cut some of the items which I think I don't need. A very simple package. They are not pushy and they will listen to what we want. Their photos are more creative compared others.

I signed up with Castalia package for 2 days photoshoot. 1 day indoor, 1 day outdoor (choice of desaru, kulai farm, sg). 5888RM
Standard Package includes
1 gown, 1 evening, 2 suits, hand bouquet, 2 corsages for groom, 10 sets of ribbons for cars, 5 sets of gowns and suits for prewed photoshoot (3 indoor 2 outdoor),
make up artist (mua) and photographer for prewed shoot
Photo album 25 poses for 10 pages
Small album (娘家本）
1 table top
60 postcards
Poster
Dvd montage
Cd rom with photos that were chosen in album (they say that all soft copies can be blown up big enough to print as big portraits.)

Some bridal shops claim to give u all soft copies but not edited and they compress to small ones which u can't print it big.

No mua, photographer n videographer for actual day. Need to source externally in sg or frm jb.

There's 4688Rm but one day photoshoot. 4 indoor gowns and 1 outdoor gown (outdoor is to jb area only.

Their package content is negotiable. Whatever you don't need, they will take it out and change to something you need more. You should go down and have a look to see if you like their photography skill and gowns. I personally find their gowns pretty and the photography skill in sample album is good. I have get to take my prewed shoot.
